We had a fantastic stay. Very clean. Love the A/C that works properly. The site is very well maintained and an extra bonus that it's pet friendly.
The one and only little thing was that the wifi was very intermittent at times.
At no fault of this place, it is somewhat annoying to get out and into the city with the roadworks but it's close to the Big Banana, shopping plaza and plenty of restaurants.
Would highly recommended this place as we are planning a week long stay next time.

We stopped in for a few nights on our road trip up north and stayed in the delux cabin.

Bananacoast is conveniently located within a relatively close proximity to Coffs Harbour City Centre and within walking distance to The Big Banana.

The only other benefit is the size of the cabin we stayed in.

As soon as we walked in, the benefits started to dwindle, and we started to regret booking our 2 night stay. In short, the place was not clean or well kept.

In depth, walls filthy and dents everywhere, mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, urine smell coming from the lounge, and when we flipped the cushions, we noticed stains, sands, dust, dirt and hair underneath. There was a dampish odour, and the cutlery was worn and not clean. Cleaning them ourselves was hard as they provided an old washing up sponge. Curtains were filthy and damaged, and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.

I'd think twice about booking a cabin here. Camping or using your own caravan may be beneficial.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and what we thought would be a wonderful tume turned out to be horrible. The staff were nice enough and we know our experience with the cabin itself is not their fault.
After the first night we started getting itchy & found that the lounge had bed bugs. ? The bathroom was dirty with hair on the roof as well as at the top of the shower we did mention something to staff. The oven had a horrible smell and when looking at it you could see food of some kind under it in view which was gross. The cabin had a horrible mouldy and musty smell which no matter what you did it would not go away and when you put the air con on to heat the cabin it had a horrible smell too.
All issues were addressed with management on site and we left a day early as we couldn't cope with the itching and finding bugs on us anymore.

Fantastic stay! Big room, very functional kitchen, easy to find and all for very cheap price. Me and my pet had a very good stay here, loved the staff and my stay. For a short stop hotel the place has everything, highly recommended.

We stayed here for 4 nights with 2 other couples in 2 cabins and a powered site. Cabins and powered site were close to the main highway and very noisy. Lots of permanent residents and those sites need tidying up and are too close to other cabins. We couldn’t open our cabin curtains because it looked straight into a permanent residents area. Our 2 cabins had a connecting verandah with not enough lighting to eat on the verandah. There was a step down in the middle of the verandah which was not marked to prevent injury. Wooden steps were rickety and car parking space was very tight. Our cabin was pretty basic, not very spacious and needs modernising. Not enough crockery, saucepans and cooking dishes. Air con/ heater had a stale smell when turned on.Powered site was right beside the highway and in a small gully so when it rained the outside awning mat was flooded. BBQ area was being used as a building site so there were tradesmen tools, wheelbarrow and bags of cement in the BBQ area. The whole park has areas where building materials have been left lying around - gives the appearance of a scrap yard. Website states the park is a “short stroll to the beach” - but you have to put your life at risk getting across an extremely busy 4 lane highway first. Locals that we spoke to didn’t have a very high opinion of this park which is pretty sad. On a positive note, the staff we dealt with were friendly. Would not recommend this park to others or stay here again.

Was a basic but clean cabin. Unfortunately due to the roadworks out the front it was noisy and took forever just to get across the road into coffs centre. Once the road works is complete it will be great. The location is good close to everything
