Excellent host, rooms very clean and tidy, no noise, good price, and the owner give you some recommendations to enjoy close there and if you don't know the place they havea map to explain you the near places to go for food, drink or another thing.

We spent 2 nights at Balmoral Queenslander at the beginning of February.
The host Brian gave us a warm welcome and explained the accommodation and the surrounding area to us.
A nice start to our trip through Australia.

The breakfast sufficed; nothing special. |The queenslander was not far from the ferry to the center of Brisbane. |We arrived around 9:00 P.M. on a Friday night, but that did not mess that there were still restaurants open. |But again what a beautiful house!

We stayed at this delightful Queenslander for two nights. We had a large private charming garden room overlooking a verandah and a pretty garden. Delightful stay with clean modern ensuite and access to a kitchen with all provisions for breakfast and coffee making. Such a quiet peaceful experience strolling distance to Oxford Street and fabulous restaurants and bars. We highly recommend this excellent well positioned beautiful Queenslander and will be staying here whenever we visit Brisbane

I would have loved to give the Balmoral Queenslander 10 out 10 but I couldn't re two things. My pillow( not pillowcase) had a terrible smell of stale sweat from previous guests, I had to my tee shirt under my head to stop the smell. Mouldy bread in kitchen, we had no bread on Monday before leaving. Such a pity.

I stayed for 4 nights. This place has a beautiful atmosphere with a cosy layout. Everything was clean and in great condition. It is also in a great location, close to cafes and transport. So comfortable and the relaxing outdoor settings are lovely for sitting around. This will always be my 1st choice when staying in Brisbane. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed five nights at the Balmoral Queenslander while traveling with friends.||It’s a beautiful, authentic and quite historic old home thats been lovingly restored. It has big spacious rooms and exceptionally good beds.||The location is brilliant. An easy walk into Bulimba and the Oxford St Shops or down to the ferry terminals and into the city.||Brian & Marie could not have been more hospitable and nothing was too much trouble.We stayed there to catch up with family renting locally and our hosts even lent us their BBQ and set up their own private dining room balcony for us to use.We all had a really nice get together and we can't thank them enough for their kindness. Should we ever need to we would definitely stay there again.
