Its called a nature resort ... yes and no... it lived up to that name with the beach and river location which was lovely, nice bushland, lots of wildlife... what wasn't natural is the big brightly coloured plastic playground with music playing all day, it was noisy... so not exactly the peaceful weekend we were after. The glamping tent was fun, very clean, well stocked, but what wasn't fun was that they are built so close together and canvas walls transmit every sound. Loved the relaxed dog friendly policy. Staff were nice. Coffee from the Cafe was good. I think our dogs had a better time than we did!

Great spot. Nice and quiet after the long weekend. Lots of new works having been completed. Great pool and activities area. Bike and walking tracks, beach a couple of minutes walk. Toilets, showers and amenities excellent. Front of house staff very friendly and helpful which is always a great start.

The resort is a bit out of the way, but very good if you want a peaceful setting. Staff were friendly, amenities clean and tidy. Camp kitchen very basic. Great play area for kids.
I stayed in a campervan. Site was adequate.

Ballina Beach Nature Resort offers a perfect blend of nature and comfort, making it an ideal getaway for us and our dog. The pet-friendly policies made it easy for us to enjoy our time together, and there were plenty of open spaces for our dog to explore.

We opted for one of the glamping tents, and it was a delightful surprise! The tent was spacious and well-appointed, featuring comfortable bedding and all the essentials. The beautiful surroundings added to the charm, and it felt like a true escape into nature.

The food at the cafe was delicious and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend.

Great location, beautiful beach great walking/bike trail. The staff are very helpful. Toilet blocks are clean but like most caravan parks there aren't enough of these. , the Cafe has a great menu. Powered sites are very spacious and clean, plenty of shade. The new pool and water park is amazing. Being a dog friendly camp ground is a big plus.

We were part of a group of 6 families who just spent the weekend at Ballina Beach Nature Resort. It is a wonderful camp ground in a brilliant location. The brand new water park complete with water slides was a huge hit with the kids.....the happy hour cocktails a hug hit with the big kids. We all took a night off cooking and the cafe did a brilliant job with our 24 person order.

A fantastic fined, wonderful value and superb "camping experience". The swag tent was probably only a couple of months old and was superbly equipped with a queen size bed and small kitchenette with toaster kettle and fridge. The bed for superbly comfortable and air conditioning was available if required. The nearby amenities block was also newly fitted and provided excellent showers and toilets. ( The only thing really needed was a squeegee to clean the floors after showering)

First the park is great for families as they have a great water park and also people without dogs.
We took our dog but as it's not allowed on the beach their is no where else to walk as the park is very isolated.
We had a caravan site and the prickles around the van were so bad even our dog had trouble walking around so we had paid for two nights but left after one.
Just make sure you have shoes for the kids on the grass didn't have any for our dog.
