Malumba Estate is the very epitome of luxury. I recently attended a conference at this venue and the homely feel was very welcoming. Staff were attentive and efficient and the host was a delight. The large rooms, natural light and variety of spaces in which to mingle with people or retreat for some reflection time make this the perfect space for any occasion. Enjoying a glass of bubbles by the firepit taking in the awe-inducing views from the estate was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this venue for a luxury family getaway or conference.

Malumba Estate. A luxury home nestled privately behind Buderim. What I love most is the expansive energy that exists when you are here. So many green spaces to be at one with nature. Sunrise and the light at sunset are a photographers dream. Within the home, it is a visual feast for the eyes with beautiful artwork, books and comfortable spaces to relax and let wonderful conversations flow. 5 star service from the warm and wonderful owners Heidi and Kim.
You must experience this place for yourself.

Coming to the Sunshine Coast regularly I find myself staying at many of the 5 star hotels. looking for something different
i came across this luxurious estate, My experience at the Malumba Estate was far superior and could not compare , the view of the Coast, great privacy. The best location short drive to the beach and the airport. This was a marvellous stay and thank you to these incredible hosts for making everything so easy i will now find my self and business partners making regular returns to Malumba Estate.

Such a hidden gem of the Sunshine Coast, yet so close to everything! I was fortunate enough to hold my Power & Peace yoga, mindfulness and meditation retreat here, with the use of Malumba Estate and the nearby yoga studio overlooking the coastal plain out to the ocean. Super luxurious and comfortable beds, beauty and attention to detail everywhere you look and incredible care by the owners to ensure our stay was comfortable. 5-stars isn't enough to convey our experience. Oh My !!! What an impeccable experience of nature and luxury !! I had the sheer pleasure of spending 2 long days nestled around the fire at a mastermind retreat recently. It was the perfect space to retreat away from the hustle and bustle and noise of life. Such an intense elevating experience being surrounded by expansive 300 degree views of nature , ocean, skyline and surrounding landscape. I can not wait to get back there again. Malumba Estate is a level of luxury that surpasses anything I have experienced in my 25 years of visiting the Sunshine Coast. What made our stay extra special was the personal touch and attention to detail unsurpassed, by host and creative director Heidi Meyer and her team.

Heidi and her husband Kim are well known locally for their stunning entrepreneurial efforts and community spirit.

Heidi’s background in design and luxury spoke to us at every turn, the decadence of the estate’s beautiful interior and features nestled within the tranquil still of rain forest on one side and high set sprawling coastal views as far as the eye can see on the other, made for splendour, harmony, peace, rest and relaxation,

Everything has been thought of. Not only is this home sublimely beautiful, it is extremely comfortable. I love the Jai Vasicek art works and the Grand Piano room, especially.

There are four living areas and a plethora of beautiful alfresco spaces so each of our group could find space and solitude to relax if we wanted. We enjoyed a game of croquet on the croquet lawn, that was fun and something different.

The butler’s pantry is a feast for one’s eyes brimming with gorgeous things to eat and drink from and silver in the cutlery draw for everyday use.

I defy even a Michelin Chef not to be impressed with the facilities in the kitchen.. I loved using the Zip tap and having boiling, sparkling and chilled water on tap!

We had sundowners out by the fire pit every evening, the ocean views spectacular and the mountains twinkling like a jewellery chest by night. To witness the Glass House Mountains at sunset with a glass of wine in hand from the deck as another option…. superb!

The pool was mineralised and chlorine free which was such a treat, and did I mention the infrared sauna and sunken bathtub. ✨

For those who enjoy Netflix, Apple TV and superior feature such as Bose speakers and ducted air conditioning, there was everything of that nature here at Malumba perfect for an executive retreat as well. The reception space would make a wonderful boardroom for meetings to take place.

The beds were divinely comfortable, every type of pillow I one could possibly imagine from buckwheat to a colonial silver threaded and those gorgeous linen sheets…..

Malumba even has a Heli Landing, for those wishing to arrive by helicopter and the event lawn with ocean views, would be perfection to host a wedding or any kind of special event for that matter.

We were just 15 minutes, drive from the Sunshine Coast airport and 10 minutes from Mooloolaba Beach, restaurants and town life, not that any of us wanted to venture out. Everything we wanted, needed and more…. was right here on Malumba Estate.
