First time visiting Back Galley Café in Camden (as my favourite was closed).

Small but warm vibes. The dishes we ordered was generously portioned. Pancakes were huge (I didn't finish it) and the double bacon & egg roll was large.

Coffee was good and my fresh Sunrise juice was refreshing.

Service was just OK: I had to get our own cutlery (but noticed other tables being brought theirs, I don't know why).

I would stick to my favourite next time.

First time at this cafe. Dropped in my way to a job.
I got there as it was opening. I ordered a bacon and egg roll with a large almond mocha. Bacon and egg roll was chocka block full. Right up there with one of the best bacon and egg roll I've had.
Mocha was great, full of flavour not water down or overly bitter coffee.
Staff were friendly.
Price is reasonable
Definitely recommend this place

Been a while since we last dined in Back Galley where it used to look like something out of the 1950s. However it has been modernised to a comfortable Cafe setting which is welcoming and relaxed. Food is still as good as I remember and generous portion size meals.

This time here for breakfast. Strawberry Pancakes and Double Bacon and Egg Roll.

Lemonade presented in a glass with ice, found hair on top of the ice ?.

Pancakes a little doughier tasting than I'd like it. Walnuts nice, crunchy with toffee or sugary coating.

Bacon and Egg Roll on par with what you'd find in other cafe's.

Wait time wasn't as long this time round.

One more star added.

We had to wait quite a while for 2 milkshakes. :0(

The Cafe was not busy and people ahead of us were only ordering coffee and something small or premade.

The menu has changed since I was last here over 3 years ago.

I used to take our exchange students here for a treat but I won't do this if we ever get the chance to host again.

Cafe on the Main Street of Camden with outside and inside seating available. It has a calm tranquil atmosphere perfect for breakfast/ lunch.
The staff were friendly, very attentive and polite. The menu is diverse and caters to many different tastes.

The food was nice, lamb was soft, fritters had lovely flavour, the pumpkin in the Lamb wrap added a subtle sweetness and the French toast was fluffy and sweet.

Only complaints would be that the beans in the hot pot were a bit basic for “house made beans” and just tasted like they were seasoned with BBQ sauce also we waited awhile for our smoothies getting them at the end once we finished our meals.

Nice, quaint little cafe with "the best eggs benny in Camden" (apparently).
Not sure if they are the best, but they pretty darn good. Hollandaise sauce is terrific. The only annoyance was the price. $17 is pretty good value for eggs benny with bacon or salmon, but when paying it turned out to be $24 (which is still ok, but not what we were expecting). We were then informed that there was an error with the menu, and the additional cost was left off when printed. Could have told us that when we ordered.
Anyway, coffe was great, service was good, staff are friendly.
Recommend stopping in here for breaky or whatever takes your fancy.

My husband and I stopped in for a bite to eat and we were pleasantly surprise and even a bit shocked at how well priced the meals were but also the serving size was spot on. Sometimes you don’t always get what you pay for but this little cafe provided above and beyond!.

Really loved our experience here. Food was brought out quickly and was delicious. Staff were amazing. Very friendly and polite.
Price was well and truly on par with the quality of food.
Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great affordable meal.
