The Azalea Motel in Coonabarabran was a clean, well organised motel room set among lovely landscaped parkland on the southern aspect of the town. The rooms are a bit dated as is the whole motel but that certainly is no criticism.

The room and facilities were fine, it was clean and the bed comfortable.

The fridge was small and low which made access a little difficult and there was no streaming apps on the TV which did not concern me. (And they didn’t advertise it and then not work. The internet connection was a bit mediocre)

For the price I feel it was a very satisfactory stay.

A refurbished room with everything you need. Tub chairs to sit on. Large screen TV, a/c, new bathroom, vinyl flooring. Linen and towels were clean and new, and the price was perfect too. Finally after a great number of motel stays around Australia, this motel was value for money.

Friendly and helpful staff (thanks Ruan). Clean and tidy modern room. Big Comfy bed (beware however it moves very readily away from the wall which made for a funny incident while watching tv!) The pool was lovely clean and refreshing also.. good experience and feeling well rested ready to continue a long journey across the country.

After 14 hour drive I had the best shower of my life. I will remember it forever. I did have to put on my glasses to determine hot and cold taps but I instantly had a beautiful temperature of water cascading with the perfect amount of intensity and coverage. The bathroom is perfect with superior stylish and functional amenities. |The tariff is very modest.

I have stayed here a couple of times and will be back.Prices are great.Everything works. 10/10 from me. Position is great for a quick getaway in the am.The trucks don't bother me as we live right beside the highway here in Qld. Rooms are a good size to.

Great motel with beautiful flowers and plants. Staffs are friendly and room was comfortable. Bathroom is new and modern. Would definitely come back again!

Not sure how this place could possibly get more than 1 star. Maybe I was given one of the older rooms? The room had a stench of urine. The bathroom was definitely not clean, not new at all. Mould in the shower and literally smelt like a urinal. The walls are so thin, I could hear conversation from rooms on either side. I left pretty much straight away. Terrible.

Go up
