Excellent service. Staff is super friendly and courteous. I liked the chilli hot chocolate. Have never seen this flavour anywhere in the city. Just look at the drinks menu.
This is located before you cross the departure gate.
There is plenty of seating space around the shop. The food is also great. Would love to try this again during my next visit.

Staff has great personality. Barista takes pride in making the coffee. The cuppa is low on acidity. It has a somewhat smoky aroma, very mild on its bitterness. Could be the milk use, the coffee tasted a little thin. Overall, if you are looking for a caffeine dose before flying off, this is not too bad a place to go to.

Went for a long black with an extra shot, as I normally do at other coffee shops.
Got a very bitter tasting coffee, but strong which I was looking for anyway.
After being re-educated by staff turns out for a black coffee they use single source beans, which leaves a bitter, stronger taste.
Turns out I was in the wrong and just uneducated.
Service and staff were great, shop was clean and tidy and with my new found knowledge I’m now searching for that stronger bitter taste in coffee. 👍🏼

Axil Coffee Roasters are new to the International Terminal and wow, the coffee was pretty good. They have coffee beans for sale as well as their own reusable coffee cups which I’d highly recommend you take advantage of.
For breakfast, I had a croissant that was pretty fresh considering it was a very early start. Never underestimate the delights of a fresh croissant on an early morning!
They also had other items such as cakes, drinks, fruit salad, sandwiches that can be toasted if you wish.
Despite the airport being busy, the staff were helpful and took their time to make sure they god their orders correct adding a nice smile and greeting to go with it.
Toilets are nearby which is helpful. Wheelchair accessible, disabled friendly, kid friendly.

One of many cafes at Melbourne airport. Highly recommended for its focus and attention to good quality coffee. Definitely a place to have one final drink before leaving Melbourne.
