Such a filthy disgusting place .
Rooms are horrid the shower is a Trauma device no shower just flow just a solid stream. They realy need to care about their rooms and guests. Had a booking for dinner after waiting and being ignored for 15mins I was finally seen too only to be told there is no one around to take our dinner order. Such an underwhelming experience. I will never ever come back to this hovel. Ps the staff should do more than hang out back and play cards while drinking while the restaurant is still open.
Avoid this place and don't be fooled by the pictures of the rooms You will be discussed as I was.

Really disappointing stay! Bed uncomfortable, mould in the bathroom, missing hooks, mismatched outdoor chairs, taped paper blinds, cobwebs, filthy exhaust fan cover… considering what once used to be the ‘go to’ accommodation in a beautiful location - needs alot of updating and TLC and for the price for an overnight stay, you would think the standard would match! Very sad

We stayed in unit 1 for a night last week. The room was adequate for our needs. Pro's: Lovely setting, nice restaurant (limited days open for dinner), nice kitchenette. Cons: Furniture old and tired, old timber framed bed which creaked and groaned with every move, uncomfortable mattress, showerhead leaked everywhere and shower base leaked all over the bathroom floor. There was noise most of the night from the traffic on Brookton Hwy (and we were the furthest unit from the road, so it would have been louder for other guests). We could not get the TV to work, however that didn't bother us. As we were there for only one night, I didn't complain but would have if we had stayed longer.

Filthy bathroom, stale smell and patio full of cigarette butts. We would never have stayed if we knew the poor effort put into cleaning. The manager was apologetic but really how can they have units so unclean, this is build up of cleaning neglected.

Stayed in unit 9 for 2 nights in October 2024. Spacious, light room with large bathroom and kitchenette. Bed was clean and comfortable. Some of the furniture was a bit tired and dated. Showing signs of wear and tear. Shower had no shower curtain. Generous supply of toiletries. Grounds were very nice in some areas but other areas needed a big tidy up. Overall, could do with a bit of TLC but was perfect for what we needed for the 2 nights. Restaurant and bar onsite, nice meals and pleasant outlook. Would stay again.

Beautiful, relaxing place to enjoy the company of friends and family. We all enjoyed our meals, and the service was great. I love that you can choose to sit inside or outside. The view is beautiful and the trees are huge. Reasonably price.

Staff are polite and friendly,
We arrived after hours and having a lock box available gave great piece of mind.
Nice cozy rooms and super comfy bed!

Hearing the water running down stream was delightful and considering its close to brookton hwy, couldn’t hear any road noise which is perfect piece of mind for those light sleepers (like myself)
