I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tamborine Mountain and staying at Avocado Sunset. The Safari room was a delight - large with uninterrupted views of the valley, and decor meticulously curated on-theme with an African safari. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with our host and other guests over delicious breakfast and taking in the views and native wildlife. Ample parking and an easy walk/drive to cafes, shops, and bush walking trails. Thank you for our stay, we will be back!

Our stay at Avocado Sunset Bed & Breakfast on Tamborine Mountain, was an unforgettable experience. We stayed in the romantic Safari Room which has a four-poster bed and a huge spa bath. We had a private balcony and especially loved the stunning views accross the treetops. Breakfast was delicious and huge! The friendly hosts, Jilly and Mel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway!

I loved visiting Avocado B&B! It was lovely meeting the hosts, and the house was tastefully decorated but also had that comfy, antique vibe to it. The spa was amazing to soak in, and the beds were super comfy. We had our own balcony overlooking the beautiful bush, where the sunset gave us a beautiful sight. My favourite part was the morning breakfast. It was delicious!

Mel & Jilly are beautiful people. They made me feel very welcome although I've booked and arrived late on a public holiday. I had the best sleep as the B&B is in a very quiet area. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. All in all, a perfect place to visit Mount Tamborine.

Stunning Place and well worth the 1000km trip we needed to do to stay here. The room could not have been better (bath with a view over the rainforest was stunning). Felt at home the second we arrived and I can't remember the last time I had a breakfast as good. Already making plans to head back up for longer stay.

I had been to a funeral and was really in need of a good night's sleep and frankly, a hug. I arrived and Jill made me feel like I'd come home to my favourite Aunt's house. She was warm and welcoming; their cat Leo let me hug and pat him which was comforting. The view from their deck is spectacular. The room (I was in the Oriental Suite) was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable... I slept for ten hours! Breakfast rivals any cafe - plentiful, fresh, delicious and hot food made to order. Even the coffee was delicious. It was all so easy and so comfortable - it was just what I needed. This is where I'll be staying next time I come back to the mountain.

Our lovely host Jilly met us on arrival and showed us through the B&B. The room we stayed in (Daintree) was very spacious and comfortable, with our own private balcony to relax on and enjoy the most wonderful view. The guests expansive lounge area was cosy, (complimentary Port was available), and looked out over the rainforest and valley below. Mel and Jilly prepared an excellent hot breakfast and fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and coffee. We enjoyed our overnight stay, and Jilly and Mel's wonderful hospitality. Thank you both so much.
