Much improved and one of the better Avoca beach venues now. Service is good if a little too attentive occasionally but friendly happy staff. Food is much improved

Great place that gets better every time!

Right on the beach with amazing views.
Pleasant dining room but pretty noisy still. Good wines that aren't over priced.
Great Asian/Tapas/Modern Australian menu with plenty of options. Probably won't suit people wanting pub classics, but we love it.

FYI, Locals night Tue-Wed, 2 courses $44 or 3 for $56 with a glass of wine

Magic location with 180 degree elevated open view over Avoca Beach. Fresh seafood served traditionally or with Asian and Mediterranean influences. Generous portions take the edge of the higher prices, and you do get a great view. Service was very attentive and you genuinely friendly. We enjoyed seafood tagliatelle and a refreshing Thai salad. Very reasonably priced choice of beers on tap and a good range of wines. Obviously popular with locals.

Just had a lovely dinner with friends, the service was excellent as was the food! The owners who were working the floor told us that they had only been operating for 3 months, very impressive considering the Covid restrictions they would have endured. The staff were all practicing excellent Covid safe guidelines. The menu was a combination of modern Australian with a little Thai and seafood. The kitchen is on point and everything was cooked perfectly! We ordered a bottle of Cote de Rhone which was well priced and delicious. Well done guys, keep up the great work.

Food was expensive and below average.
The reason this got a 1 star isnt even that. It got a one star for service. Got asked 4 times during our meal if we were done about 10 minutes into the meal and legitimately 2 mins apart by the same waiter. Didn't get any water that requested during the meal.

I can't prove it but I'm pretty sure that lady was racist as we were only the non-caucasian in the place. We checked if she was doing that to other tables, but it was just ours. Also the place had heaps of tables free.

This is a review of the Beach house restaursnt next door to the beach house holiday house. The restaurant is under new management and its clear they are still having a few teething problems with wrong meals coming out, plates and cutlery being dropped when being removed from our table...generally a bit fawlty towers in nature. However the location is good, menu also good and it will work out i think. Its awfully noisy, maybe some sound dampening would be a good idea.

Amazing food & service with a stunning view. I had the eye fillet which was cooked to perfection. Amazing entree’s & make sure you save room for Banoffi Pie DELICIOUS!! Will be back.
