I am so disappointed my experience. Our group paid a $14k deposit for travel that was cancelled due to Covid restrictions and they’ve been promising to pay us back for THREE YEARS!!!!

They are so deceitful and dishonest and come back with so many lies!

Do not give this group your money.

Wish I’d never signed up for the ‘Chance to Represent Australia ’ for my son!

After a great experience at the Brisbane competition we accepted for the international invitation. 9 months on, it’s been 3 cancelled trips with dubious explanations and now they refuse to respond to my communication about the progress of my refund for over $5000.

And talking to others, we are definitely not the only ones.

Yes, they do run a good show locally, and sometimes their trips happen, but we just can’t keep rescheduling our lives around another cancelled Futsal trip.

Wouldn’t mind as much if they just refunded the money and we could move on, but no! Office of Fair Trading has been notified, along with the media as they have form in this area.

Poor communication and very unorganised. There's obviously no process and they just dump the responsibility on one person. Definitely should have paid closer attention to detail when building the site for shared sports purposes

We have been chasing a refund for 2 cancelled tours for 9 months now

they have done this for many years now and to many families

Fair trading have been notified and ACA are looking at doing another story

This company Australian Futsal Association (AFA) currently owes my family close to $6,000 from funds paid in 2020 for a trip that was cancelled due to covid. I have been patient, accepted a payment plan that resulted in only one instalment of $600 being refunded and nothing since then (that was 2022).

The AFA has been unfair and unjust to those of us that they owe refunds to.

Next stop is now QCAT to fight for what is my families own hard earned money!

I will also be setting online alerts for any social mentions of AFA to continue to relay the message of how unfair the treatment of those of us who have been patient (3 years) for our monies to be refunded and are still waiting.

It’s a real shame it’s come to this.

Paid for the tournament to go to fiji but due to covid in house and loss of job commitments had to pull out our daughter due illness and anxiety and asked for our money back but have been given the run around and then to be told they are taking 2k for no reason and still waiting for the money back and been 4 weeks now pretty pathetic i think its no where near the month before they go its 6 months just want the money we paid to be given back and for them to communicate alot better and not be so rude in regards to it. So if the President reads this fix this problem asap as this is not rite on any part.you have devested a family by paying 3200.00and keeping all money. We have nothing left to pay bills. Its sad because my kids loved futusl

We paid in June 2021for participation in the 2021 National Schools Championships in Sept 2021 but could not attend as we were in the ACT and Covid-19 restricted travel. We sought a refund which was approved and were told mid September that it would take 90 days. Despite numerous follow-up phone calls and promises "it is just awaiting the CEO' final approval" we have still not received the refund after 5 months.
I would have given zero score if possible for this seemly incompetent organisation's administration.
These are all the signs that the organization has liquidity problems and most likely insolvent.

Very hot and noisy, they only had a couple of large fans blowing hot air around, can't imagine what the heat is like in the summer time.
