The Atrium Hotel where we stayed was a bit along the lines of Italian hotels with a very swish and fancy foyer and a not so great room. The bed was excellent but there were no bedside lamps, only one bedside table and one completely blank wall as if they’d forgotten to put in a desk and suitcase rack when it was furnished. Tiny TV up in the corner of the room next to balcony door. It did have some complimentary water, tiny KitKats and a packet of chips which we enjoyed. Dinner in the restaurant downstairs was excellent. I ate my breakfast yoghurt out of a coffee cup using a teaspoon as unlike the Collie Ridge Motel & Resort there was no other crockery or cutlery.

Very pleasant welcome on arrival - in fact, we were able to have an early check-in which was a bonus. The rooms were excellent. Very clean and well equipped. Although it was a cold weekend the air conditioner/heater was more than sufficient to heat the entire area. Shame the bar or restaurants weren't open when we were there but it was fully understandable as it was off-season. There were vending machines serving drinks/snacks which was good.

We needed a place to stay for a party nearby, so the location was excellent and having been raised in WA I have always had a curiosity about visiting the Atrium, famous for it's indoor pool. ||The rooms are in desperate need of a facelift, a large stain as we entered near the fridge and the painted exposed brick gave the impression of a low rent motel rather than a starred hotel. The room was very clean and tidy, however things like cracked tiles, stained shower curtains and old mattresses made it hard to feel comfortable.||The staff were also hit and miss, the person who checked us in super lovely and efficient, but a bartender having a loud shouting match with a customer (over entitled behaviour by the customer, which is totally out of pocket) before we had even found our room left a fairly negative tinge to the experience.||You get what you pay for I suppose, but I certainly wouldn't call this a "deluxe" stay.

We were a bit worried after reading some horrible reviews but honestly, it's fine. Beds and rooms were comfy. Yes it's dated but it's also really cheap. Would stay again if I just needed a bed. Manager was lovely and check in was easy. Great location as well walking distance from nice cafes

Expensive for what it provides. It is very outdated. Yes, there is a pool and spa but if you don't require that it is something you're paying for ... and you have to put up with the 'cries of joy' from children from 8am when we were trying to have a much-needed sleep in. There are other hotels / apartments in the nearby area for the same price which provide greater value for money, are cleaner and more updated and have a better view over the marina. We only stayed there as it was a last minute booking and were unable to get into the apartment complex in which we normal stay and enjoy.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The room was in very poor condition and clearly had not been renovated in decades—easily over 40 years. The furniture was heavily worn and stained, particularly the couch, which looked like it was from the 1970s. The window had been left open before our arrival, and there were thick cobwebs and dead insects present, giving the space a neglected and unclean feel.

The bathroom was especially concerning: small, with missing tiles in the wall, visible stains, and a questionable attempt to cover damaged areas with white paint over exposed brick. The shower was cramped and didn’t appear to have been properly cleaned. Additionally, the toilet flush didn’t work, which is unacceptable.

The carpet was dirty and made the room feel unhygienic—I didn’t feel comfortable removing my shoes, let alone using the bed. The bedroom looked nothing like the photos on the website, which felt misleading. There was only one power outlet in the entire room, inconveniently located behind the microwave in the kitchen. The television was extremely small and outdated.

Despite the property being visibly run-down, there seemed to be an effort to mask it with vines growing over the building’s exterior. The door was overly heavy and closed abruptly, which didn’t feel safe.

Overall, the quality of the accommodation did not justify the $350 price tag. It felt more in line with a $100 stay at best. I would not recommend this property and won’t be returning.

Pool and spa was nice, the location was good for us, food and water was walking distance and lots of things u could do. Would recommend!
