Beautiful rooms and common areas adorned with artwork, books and boardgames. Everything you need is there. Multiple common bathrooms with showers and a spacious common eating areas and separate kitchen means shared spaces are pleasant and not inconvenient. They are well stocked with staples for continental breakfast and all manner of cutlery and crockery. The whole experience feels expertly curated for a relaxing and mind expanding stay. Located near cafes, restaurants, antique stores, laundry and supermarket.

Enjoyed our stay (adult and child). The rooms are lovely and bathrooms spotless. Barely saw the other guests so no queues for amenities. Kitchen is well equipped with a good selection of cereals, spreads, milks and bread. There is a dining room available and kitchen has everything so you can cook your own meals. The bus into Hobart centre goes from a short stroll up the street and is very cheap ($2.70 for adult and child without concession) so no need for a car.

We loved our stay at Assemblage. It was very quaint and it was really nice having a room on the second floor with views of Mt Wellington. The building is a converted post office from the 19th century. Great feel. We had the whole place to ourselves for a night or two. The downstairs kitchen was well equipped. There is a little Chinese restaurant opposite which served up some really tasty and fresh food and a very good cafe and pastry place a couple of doors down. Woolies is a short walk as is Kmart but far away enough to not feel like you are on their doorstep. Location was great in terms of just being able to drive around and explore the Hobart area. It was hard to put into words but Assemblage was our best location in terms of the mood of the place.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was one of the best places we stayed in on our 3 month trip. The rooms are thoughtful and have everything you need. The decor in each room is different so they feel really homely. Views of Mt Wellington from our room.
The bathrooms are shared but were kept impeccably clean and we never had to wait for them. Also appreciated the cruelty-free Sukin toiletries.
Location is good as you've got supermarkets, shops, cafes, etc nearby but the CBD is a short drive away. Highly recommend the Dispatch Cafe downstairs. Free parking on the adjacent road.
Thought the price was really excellent value considering what was provided.

I had an amazing week-long stay at Assemblage BnB with my family. The accommodations were not only beautiful, but also kid-friendly. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities was impressive, making us feel right at home. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep every night. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The highlight for us was the variety of activities available for kids, keeping them entertained throughout the stay. The stunning views of Mount Wellington from our room was amazing! Every aspect of our experience earned this place a well-deserved 5-star rating. We can't wait to return!

I stayed here for 3 nights with my 78-year-old Mum. It is absolutely lovely, with a cafe downstairs and its own kitchen and facilities. There are 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms, so the bathrooms are shared but kept very clean. Perfect for couples or solo travellers, the older person and young children would find it difficult with the stairs.

I stayed for a few days in January and February, and adored Assemblage. The decor is gorgeous, the rooms and amenities are clean and very comfortable, the breakfast provisions are great, there's a beautiful courtyard space to enjoy outside and having the Dispatch cafe right under/next door is very handy! If you get the chance, definitely check out Assemblage Curated! I would definitely stay here again when visiting Hobart. Thank you Tanya 😊
