Clean accommodation with single rooms that were fairly cheap and well equipped. Multiple towels were provided, which was useful. Check in was efficient and friendly. There’s an adjoining restaurant and lots of parking. My only suggestion for improvement is that the wifi signal needs to be stronger. My room only had wifi at the door- I couldn’t be sitting by the door all the time

Clean rooms with aircon. We get great prices, stay here regularly. Has a pool. The Indian restaurant attached to the motel is really good too.

Great budget option for staying in Cairns. Rooms are a bit dated but still comfortable and reasonably quiet most of the time. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We arrived late in the evening after flight up from Melbourne.
After hours staff were required to be contacted and assist us for an unforeseen issue.
They assisted as best they could at the time.
Day staff and owner Dan amazing and could not be more helpful.will definitely book in again here purely on how good the team were

Stayed for 3 nights
All we wanted was a bed to sleep in with air con while exploring cairns, nothing fancy and that’s exactly what this is. it’s old and rough around the edges but does the job. On our first night the air con broke in the room, we were moved room very quickly in the morning when we went to reception. The first room also had a good few cockroaches and ants (nothing crazy we are aware we are in Australia) but the second room was 100%. Don’t recommend using the laundry as there’s just 1 machine and our clothes came out dirtier then when they went in. We didn’t use the pool. Car park is pretty tight with limited spaces.

Overall though for the price we would stay again, everything worked the air con, fridge, tv, fan, microwave and kettle, we slept well and felt pretty safe.

The motel itself is fine, fairly basic but decent for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful, however when we asked for our room to be cleaned, our bedding was simply made up (no clean sheets) and that was it. There were mugs and spoons that we would have loved to be replaced, but were still sitting dirty on the table when we got back tired from our day out, and the extra bedding requested for my child was removed (we returned from our booked tour after reception closed at 7pm, so we were completely out of luck for the night). The bathroom still had a small piece of toilet paper on the floor near the toilet when we returned, so it clearly wasn’t cleaned at all. The value for the dollar is good, but better cleaning standards would be a good start at improvement, especially since the rooms are only serviced upon request.

The first room we were in had an air conditioner issue so reception promptly moved us to a working room. They were very good about it. We were flying out to Tokyo so the location just down from the airport was great. Needs were comfy, rooms clean. Works definitely go back.

Not clean, not quiet, not recommended.
I stayed in two different rooms, both of which were not cleaned properly. Marks all over the walls, MOLD growing all over the bathroom ceiling, quite a few ants, the most basic facilities (not even a toaster or plates/bowls,) and the second room smelt really bad. There are loud noises until very late at night due to the obviously very thin walls, and the careless staff at the restaurant and I think also the cleaners that live on site? All in all, I would not recommend this hotel.
