This is a hidden gem in Albury, and so worth it! On our way home driving from Sydney, we made a stop at this beautiful cafe and were so pleased with the quality of food, the quantity, and the variety in the menu. I chose the crab and chorizo scrambled egg, and my partner ate the big breakfast. We also ordered small iced long blacks, which were a solid 12/10. It's such a great place to eat at for brunch!

Good food, I was surprised at their deep fried pouch egg, good use of spice ?️ the chillies scramble egg has a good kick ️
Everything is freshly made (takes bit of time) and it s real busy all sunday morning, I did not see one standing wait person, they were all constantly on the go ?

Wow wow wow!
Best breakfast I’ve had in a while. I had the sriracha eggs Benedict! What a delicious and unique breakfast. Perfect amount of spice! Sitting on an incredible roti!
Partner had the fritters which were equally as amazing!

Visiting Albury from Gippsland and think I might need to move here just for this place!

Great coffee too and huge cake selection!

If you want good coffee in Albury, head to As Thick As Thieves! It was recommended by the motel and it didn't disappoint!
Melbourne style creamy coffee and a creative menu is on offer here - a Fitzroy feel, hey?
I had the Green Goodness with poached eggs, pesto emulsion, kipfler crips, garden vegetables, roti, it was exquisite!

We went on a Friday for lunch. We were expecting it to be busy, but surprisingly, it was quite quiet. The staff were lovely and sat us right away, asking for drinks while we looked at the menu. I got an ice chocolate with almond milk, which was delicious, and had the right amount of milk and chocolate. The menu was extensive, with breakfast and lunch options with many dietary accommodations. I got the southern fried chicken tacos, which were $22.90, quite cheap for a meal this size. The meal was absolutely amazing! 3 generous sized tacos, with the chicken cooked to perfection, juicy, and tender with an extremely generous serving of aioli on top. I normally don't like salsa and coleslaw, but it complimented the chicken and aioli perfectly. A perfect serving of coleslaw and salsa, with a surprise of soft avocado on the bottom, adding to the juiciness. A fair warning, though, the tacos were somewhat spicy for me as an extremely white person, but I was able to handle the spiciness and still enjoy the flavour. There was no warning about the spiciness, however, so something to look out for. My grandparents got the lamb souvlaki and chicken wrap, which they both loved. I had some of the chips which were hot, salty, and crunchy, amazing!
Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable experience, with food out within 15 minutes, we left within an hour. The staff were friendly and checked in frequently about our food. The atmosphere was lovely with amazing decor and lighting. I absolutely loved it, and I would recommend and go again myself!
