Cool area with lots of birdlife to witness. Wish there were some longer walking paths and the area could be a little better kept, but worth a visit!

Great place to see birds and especially water birds. Lots of cormorants nesting and babies feeding at present, makes great bird watching to see all their behaviors. Sadly on our exit we found the owner of the tea gardens banging a load metal bin with a stick to frighten away the flying foxes that have decided to roost at the lagoons, we witnessed a lady in a pink shirt making the a terrible noise until the poor foxes started to move in away from their roost. It’s was so sad to see that these poor animals have no peace. I would have through the tea gardens was all about protecting and encouraging the wild life!

Easy pathways, informative signage. We like to support these little places saved and maintained by community groups. Cafe closed so can't comment on their refreshments but lovely spot and plenty of seating for large groups.
