Our team had a lovely nights stay at Argyle Accommodation. Such an easy check in with codes sent to us. Everyone staying there was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was out for us to eat early before our sunrise viewing. Rooms were lovely and bathroom in our room was renovated and lovely. The whole place was super clean. Highly recommend!

🥰🥰Recently my partner had a quadraple bypass. I booked the Argyle as it was straight across the road from the Royal Hobart Hospital. If anyone needs good arrordable accommodation this is the place for. Exceptional service, very clean bathrooms & very comfy bed. This place was so amazing to stay at. We had the perfect room size and it was very comfortable. The beds were perfect and so soft and comfortable. Our balcony had an amazing view and bathroom was the perfect size. Overall, really good price and stay. We stayed in Suit 2 which had 2 bunk beds and a king bed. They had a wide variety of foods for breakfast which was so good. 100% recommended staying here.

Nice place to stay!
Owners are super friendly and available to help you if needed (advices, services, …)
Laundry available (5$), and dryer (2$).
There is also a shared kitchen with a shared fridge (own place with the room number) and freezer.
To enter in the accommodation and in your room you just need your badge (pretty easy and technological!). You can also let your stuff once you check-out and they will provide you a code to come back for your stuff.
The room is big enough, private toilet and shower (separate keys, not linked to the room, but that’s ok), fan in the room if needed.
Breakfast available (and even if you’re craving during the night 😉 you just have to be quiet for the other guests).
It was possible to do an early check-in as our room was already ready.
Location was ok, Woolworths just next to it, restaurants in the same street, bit of traffic noise but you’re in a city soooo…
I would really recommend this place if you’re in Hobart!

I stayed here for one night in a deluxe king room with my family (wife, 3yo daughter and 2mo son). At the point of booking I requested a cot for the baby and according to my booking app, that was possible. The cot was not provided and the premises is not staffed. We had to build a makeshift bed using pillows on the bottom bunk bed. Not ideal. People who have had kids know that regular bedding can present a suffocation risk for babies.

The room was clean and tidy. Everything else we needed was in there and the bathroom was modern. The room had a heater and was comfortable overnight.

Take ear plugs if you’re staying here. The noise from outside is loud and other guests can be heard as if they’re walking around your bed. The door hinges are loud and need oiling.

Overall I guess you get what you pay for. $180 per night to stay in the city is comparatively cheap, matching the quality of the place.
