Perfect Sunday lunch!! We live just 30 mins away and have never been before. After a quick google search for a “pub with undercover playground” we took the family there.
With a huge undercover beer garden / playground area it’s perfect for families. Our food was yummy and quick. We will absolutely be back

We have been a few times had my daughter’s first birthday here with a large reserved area and balloon set up etc. Had beautiful cupcakes and a cake set aside in the fridge one of the cupcakes with 12 had not even been opened and I came the next morning to collect to be told they were thrown out? I paid hundreds of dollars for these cakes and cupcakes and believe the staff actually ate them. Then we came back and had my daughter’s second birthday stupidly should have learnt the first time but the food was so bad. We had asked for a replacement and got a rude response that we don’t do that. Essentially you buy the food it is what it’s is even if it’s bad it’s not their problem I wouldn’t recommend going here.

We have been here a few times now. This time was for the meat raffle and trivia. $20.00 worth of raffle tickets and we won two meat trays, along with our trivia team member- they also won! Three trays all up.
With all the excitement of trivia we did accidentally leave our meat trays in the fridge behind the bar with our names attached. We went in the following morning once they reopened. Advised they weren't there and to await a call from the night manager.
Night manager calls and advises that the meat was off and that the meat tray that was raffled off just 15 hours earlier had to be thrown out. Raffled held 8/1/25 and expires 8/1/25. We were given no other compensation or explanation. I truly believe that the night staff had a wonderful roast lamb dinner with a Tbone side amongst the rest of the trays. Incredibly disappointing after spending so much money in the establishment.
If you are the meat supplier for the raffle, I STRONGLY suggest connecting with the hotel in regards to the off meat and their accusations.

We visited for a birthday lunch and, overall, it was just OK. The garlic bread arrived cold, and several parts of everyone's meals were the same. The parmigiana was particularly disappointing, and the mash was cold and lacked any flavour. For a venue that uses a QR code system to streamline ordering, it felt like an inconvenience for staff just to deliver the food. Hard to understand how they justify their prices given the very average food, lukewarm meals, and lacklustre service.

$17.50 for a jug of soda water for the kids seemed more than a little rude until we waited over an hour for food with no result.
Checked with the bistro who told us they had no record of our two families order (over $90 per order X 2). A system printer error was blamed.
2 hrs later our dinner arrived 70% correct, afraid to send back at the risk of the kids tearing the place down with hunger, we ate and left.
Any wonder the place was near empty by 9:00.
Plenty of other finer establishments in the area.
Do not recommend.

On a side note, bar staff and kitchen staff were very apologetic and friendly. It appears management on the night was less than adequate.

Love the food and live music. Would be great if the music went outside to the kids area too. But still a joint with a good vibe, feed and clean.

Went for lunch today with my sister and our 7 grandchildren. My sister and I ordered the rump steak Thursday special. 1 was rare the other medium rare the steak was so tough very hard to cut and very tasteless. It was $18 plus extra for a sauce so not worth it. The staff was very friendly but the food was not good so we won't be going back

Food and service was nice, no real wait for either, table service came out fast. Undercover kids play area was really good but maybe someone to observe the kids occasionally as the safety gate was being left open and some kids were bullying other smaller children and there parents didn't seem to care. All in all a great experience
