This is a beautiful house to stay and the owners are wonderfull with a great hospitality. When we arrived Maureen gave us tea, so that we could relax after our roadtrip. Maureen and Owen will do anything to make your stay comfortable and will support you as much as possible when you have any questions. |The room we had was gorgeous, with comfortable bed and a good shower. |The location is within walking distance to the city centre with lots of restaurants. ||It was lovely to meet you Maureen and Owen and thanks for the JIF tip 🙂

We stayed at Andara for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is meticulously clean and very comfortable. Maureen has done a wonderful job decorating Andara in keeping with the period of the home. We feel that staying in B&B's is much nicer than a cold sparsely decorated apartment and the hotels in the past have not offered the same friendly homely service. We also like the interaction with other guests/travellers you can meet at breakfast which adds to the enjoyment of the stay. Andara is well located, and is a short Uber ride or approx. 15-20 minute walk to the waterfront, shopping or restaurants. Maureen and Owen are wonderful hosts and we hope to stay with them again. We highly recommend Andara.

My friend and I stayed in Room 3 as we had an event in Geelong on the foreshore. The house is old, with some very eclectic, old style furnishings - but is exactly as it is portrayed in pictures so no surprises! The bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept great, even though we had to have the fan on as it was a hot night, the room cooled down easily with the fan going. ||Linda was a pleasure to deal with, and there are many common areas in the house which would be very useful had we been staying longer. I could not fault the experience in anyway, as everything was exactly as advertised, easy check in & out, and great value for money.

My sister and I felt as though we had stumbled upon an absolute gem. Owen and Maureen upkeep a wonderful B&B with comfortable and spacious rooms and every amenity we wanted. The tea and breakfast were great as were the conversations we shared. Could not have been happier or more comfortable withe our arrangements!

A comfortable stay near the center of Geelong, an easy walk to the waterfront and shopping areas. Our room was elegant, high ceilinged and furnished with antiques and art. It was ample but we appreciated having access to a sitting room as well. The 1900 house is much larger than it would appear from the street. Maureen was delightful and served a simple but satisfying breakfast.

WOW! Just got back from a weekend visit in Geelong. I have stayed in a few spots there but this place takes the cake. My wife and I received the most welcoming hospitality from Maureen. She went out of her way on numerous occasions to make sure our needs were met. The reason I keep using B&B's is because of that extra bit of service. In the case of Ardara House B&B they do this on every single level. My future visits to Geelong will most definitely include staying in this wonderful home.

I stayed in a single room, and found it clean and very comfortable. Maureen and Owen were able to give me lots of helpful advice about Geelong, places to eat, and visit. I am moving to Geelong, and they were also able to help me find places, and even help me get some furniture for my new house. ||This is the second time I have stayed with them, and found that it was easy to relax and enjoy myself.

An unexpected pleasure to stay overnight at Adara House. This Edwardian home is central and handy to the city and waterfront. Maureen and Owen are consumate hosts; genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful. |My single room suited me perfectly. Quiet, self contained, well appointed and cosy.|Breakfast was generous, healthy, beginning with fresh fruit salad and yogurt, a great selection of cereals and muesli and quality toasted bread. Coffee and tea if required. Breakfast can be taken indoors or on the deck or in the kitchen.|Maureen and Owen make sure that you leave content and refreshed. Genuine hosts offering genuinely great value.|
