Really nice views and outdoor area is great for lunch. Food is great, be warned they charge 8.5% surcharge on Sundays. Won't come back just on that.. such a shame really.

I ordered a scotch fillet steak and cealiac chips for lunch for my birthday.
I was told they have run out of these chips. Offered mashed potato instead. It is more like Deb instant mashed potato which was plonked on top of half the salad. Not a pleasant part of a meal that costs $40.00 which is too much to pay for such a mediocre meal.
It used to be good under the previous proprietor. Now l feel disappointed.

The view of the mountains makes me smile inside. I would recommend the greek salad and the schnitzel burger as it is good value with large portions. The ambience gave that of a larger hotel found in rural NSW. Additionally, the Keno is quite generous and paid for our meal. I especially like the barrels that are painted with the words “Hillbilly Cider” which adds to the pleasant ambience of this hotel.

Nice view!! Best place to chill out with friends or even alone looking at the best view from mountain top. Sydney CBD buildings can be seen from this hotel. The ambience is good inside. Car park available. Jave seen a lot of bikers chilling out here.

Just stayed 2 nights at the Archibald Hotel. Now, if you're expecting 5 star, this is not the place to go.... however...|It doesn't try to be anything it isn't.|Rooms were clean, well fit out and the beds were comfy. The TV was great, had a kettle, fridge and good bathroom.|The wifi was strong and never let us down. |The pub below is a 2 minute walk down some steps and is a great place. Food was wonderful, staff very friendly and a ripper place to have a few drinks.|I enjoyed our time there and certainly felt welcome.|If you're looking for good, clean but simple accommodation, (even better if you're heading to a function at Loxley) this is a great place to stay.

Took a seniors group for lunch over 2 days - 60 per day. Everyone was very happy. Fay said "The venue at Kurrajong was great, the food also. Can thoroughly recommend the trip. Hope some of the people who didn’t go on that particular one are able to join it when and if it comes up again."
Thank you for doing a great job.

Archibald hotel is a great pit stop on Bells line with a great view over the valley.
The food was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. Kids meals were great. We got the fried chicken and prawns which were both quite tasty.
The decor is a bit tired inside and out.
