We had a beautiful stay at Forest Cottage — peaceful, cozy, and everything we needed. Jessica was a lovely and attentive host. The breakfast supplies were generous, the bed incredibly comfy, and we loved the fireplace (with all firewood provided!).

The area around the cottage offers plenty of options for hiking, cycling, scenic lookouts, and reconnecting with nature.

Everything was clean, well maintained, and full of thoughtful details — from a delicious house-made liqueur to a well-stocked minibar. We would absolutely come back!

We had the most memorable and relaxing stay at Arcadia – Forest to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. The cozy cottage was the perfect romantic getaway — beautifully set up with a private jacuzzi, a crackling wood fire, and a charming outdoor seating area to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The owner was incredibly kind and thoughtful. When she found out we hadn’t had lunch, she generously provided one free of charge — such a heartwarming gesture that made us feel truly cared for. The cottage was stocked with snacks, tea, coffee, and breakfast ingredients that were more than enough for both of us.

Every little detail, from the comfort of the space to the hospitality, made our anniversary so special. Highly recommend this place for couples looking for a cozy and serene escape!

Finding words to describe the beauty and wonder of our current trip at Arcadia Cottages is hard to truly give this place the recognition it deserves!!! My husband and I have been travelling and exploring accommodation for the past 23 years and we are proud to call Arcadia Cottages as our favourite by far! Upon arrival the beautiful hosts Jess and John were so kind and welcoming as we pulled into what felt like a rainforest. We are staying in the Fernwood Cottage and the attention to detail upon opening the stain glass solid timber door is remarkable. We were given a complimentary breakfast hamper including the finest fresh organic produce and their very own free range eggs, Victoria’s Secret bathrobes and slippers, chopped firewood, specialty teas, coffees and hot chocolates and for that special extra touch, John had purchased fresh red long stemmed roses 🌹 which were delivered by the lovely Jess and a second bunch by Emerald who was so sweet and has fantastic customer service. We have already extended our stay from two nights to five and we will also return to celebrate my birthday in March. We are so grateful and appreciative of the love and hard work you guys do to give couples such a romantic experience, like no other we have experienced.

I was absolutely blown away by my stay here!!!

We booked the Treehouse and it was so beautiful. The soaring windows and tasteful furnishings were really special. Such gorgeous drapes and crisp linen! The room had so many special little touches, including fresh fruit, chocolates on the pillows and pre-stacked firewood in the fireplace.

Jess, who booked us in, was very friendly and accommodating, and the location was so beautiful. I went for a morning walk to the botanical gardens, which was a stunning start to the day.

Thank you for such a special experince, I will surely be back!

To say my expectations were meet would be an understatement, they were blown away completely! This place was amazing! We really didn’t want to leave.

The cottage we stayed in. (Fernwood) was so comfortable and well accommodated and provided such a relaxed feel with breathtaking views.

Mel was an amazing host who went and done all she could to make our stay and experience as great as it could possibly be!

Definitely don’t hesitate to come here! I personally can’t get back soon enough.

From the seamless check-in and friendly welcome by Jess, to the gorgeous spotless accommodation with plentiful amenities and extra details that add to the vibe, our stay at Arcadia Cottage was a wonderful experience and we would be delighted to visit again! Incredible thought and design went into the planning of the cottages in order to elevate the vacation experience.

Jessica was an amazing host ! Cottages were 10/10, mini bar was the best 👌 beds were so comfortable. Spa rooms available on request. Heating / cooling perfect. I will definitely be returning

I recently stayed at Fernwood Cottage and it was truly beautiful, comfortable, quiet surrounded by beautiful bushland. Our host Jessica was wonderful. The cottage was clean, did not feel small, the bed was so comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need, the double shower was great. Loved the cosy couch and TV area between the bed and large ceiling high window - it worked so well. There is a DVD player and board games too. The private, deep hot tub (in its own enclosed area) was the definite highlight - a unique feature you don't find elsewhere. The venue is quiet/secluded yet still very close to town in Olinda, amenities and local buskwslks. Highly recommended for a romantic relaxing getaway. I am definitely coming back soon.
