Spacious rooms with a beautiful view of the ocean, so location was good but a but far out of town, had to drive everywhere. Bed was comfortable.
Curtains in downstairs bedroom were stained, as was the carpet in the upstairs lounge which had a number of awful stains and generally looked very dirty.
There was mould around the tiles in the shower area and the kitchen sink drains were completely full of mould - so disgusting! The kitchen was not well outfitted at all; if we have wanted to cook there were nowhere near enough pans etc; there was only 1 teaspoon, one large glass and 2 small ones and no medium (eg bread & butter) plates.
The whole apartment needs a thorough clean!
Finally there was only a curtain (that wouldn't close completely) separating the bathroom/toilet from the bedroom - why not some frosted glass

One word. DISGUSTING. Mouldy curtains, no door lock, air con not working, spa not working, lounge broken, advertised as ocean view apartment and there was no ocean view. This place needs to be held accountable. I've sent 2 emails with photographs attached of problems and nil response. DO NOT STAY HERE. $240 for one night. A $60 room in a pub would have been nicer.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. It is in a beautiful location with easy access to the beach and a short drive to Coffs.
We had no issues that others had mentioned, and we had a fantastic stay, and will happily come back

BEWARE! We booked the King Spa Executive room. The bed was a double, the spa does not work, the balcony curtains are too small & do not close. There is a hole in the wall between the bed & the bathroom with the toilet facing into the bed area, weird & only ill-fitted concertina louvres for some semblance of privacy whilst sitting on the loo. Weird at best.
Received instant responses to queries re parking & wifi whilst there but when we raised the issues with bed etc upon leaving we were ghosted.
Not cheap enough for how nasty it is.
It's a pity because the proximity to the beach & Coffs is perfect & the view from the room was beautiful. Could be so much more than what it currently is.

Had arrived after a 6+HR drive with a 15mth old.
Process to get key to executive king room and verify that we had in fact been booked and prepaid took 25 minutes via texting, no one to speak with directly as no service desk. They operate off site.
Room was missing cot that was pre-requested, once one arrived it was broken a second broken one was sent up, both without mattresses. Told there were no more, only resolution was a refund, as if we could find another place that afternoon, had to stay and have bub in the bed between us, for safety, I had a sleepless night to watch bub and as a result of inadequate bedding that was supplied.
Table and chairs outside on balcony, too cold to go out and use. Toilet had leftovers from last people, spa had pink scum, shower set in spa with no curtain, not ideal to climb in if pregnant or if you've mobility limitations. They sent someone to clean, though window ranchslider was dirty, dusty bed countertop and decor. Food spill on door and someone's foundation smeared on the wall. Fridge and facewasher unclean, carpet disgusting with stains.
Woke up to the smell of petrol coming up from the underground carpark. At $200, it was in poor condition with poor service.

Walk to the beach was the only good thing.

We stopped in at Aqualuna Beach Resort on our way home from QLD, heading to Newcastle.

We booked our room based on 3 people, 1 adult and two kids.
The bedding was meant to be 1 queen bed and one stretcher (which was perfect). The stretcher mattress was in very poor condition and my 9 year old had the metal bars sticking into her back. (at 24kg). Apart from 1 sheet, there was no bedding.

The TV didnt work at all

The lounge had a hair extension and lolly wrappers still left from the previous people.

The bathroom floor was wet, as the shower leaked. (badly)
The shower had no screen or curtain.
When you turned the shower on, the broken showerhead squirted water all over the room including into a power point. This was reported straight away, and we received no response.

The lounge had two rips.

The main bedroom had a whole in the wall.

From a maintenance point of view, these issues where reported. (With no hostility). I received no acknowledgment, apology or offer to rectify the issues.

We where in Unit 3

The view was nice in the morning.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! If I could give no stars I would! To start with we got our room which was already occupied by someone so we had to organise another room at 11pm. Our room was absolutely disgusting! Mould on the back of the curtains, everywhere in the bathroom, stains all over the bedding which looked like blood, stains on the carpet, smelt like mould in every room, no milk in the fridge for tea. I could go on. It literally looked like the place had not been cleaned in ages!
