I personally love their coffee and their kid-friendly food options ❤️ One of the reasons we choose to go to Box Hill Aqualink instead of Nunawading one even though we live closer to the other centre. The cafe is always busy whenever I visit but they always manage to get our orders ready quickly.

The quality of food and services have dropped drastically since the new management is in place. The food is below average and comes out very slow. Staff are too busy to provide service. Orders have been placed incorrectly. The ingredients also do not match description. For example, hokkien noodle is not egg noodle. Dine-in should not be in takeaway box. Most importantly, please get a proper bin - the current bin in the dining area is a health and safety hazard. I witnessed customers having to pick up the dirty bin lid which is not easy to pick up and one occasion the lid dropped onto the customer’s toe.

Terrible café customer service. I went there and ordered 2 cheeseburgers. Each one was $19.90. I gave them a $40 and they told me there was a %5 weekend surcharge, so I gave them another $5 dollar note. They said it wasn’t acceptable because it had the tiniest prick of a hole in it. I was literally $1 short, absolutely outrageous. I had to buy one measly burger for me and my friend to share. They charged $20.90 for the one hamburger, and I gave them $20.20. They said we couldn’t pay that because we were 70 cents short of the full price, so I had to pay seventy extra cents. Then later I went to order a hotdog and 2 hash browns. The total was $8.40 so I gave them a $10 note. They told me to give them 40 cents. I said that I had given them $10 and they have to give me the change, then they said that I should just give them the 40 cents so that they could just give me a $2 coin so their job would be easier.
I mean, you’re a cashier, don’t you know how to do simple math?
This goes out to all of the employers; have you heard of anything but money?!

I had a terrible experience today
I ordered chips and muffins with coffee,
The chips were, very oily cos they cooked before and they put in microwave, thats why, they were, so oggy and oil, that you couldn't believe it, bad smell, like your eating, burning oil.

The muffin was terrible!
Was very old, and after I tried to eat it, it WAS completely broken, It was completely raw.
I told the lady we couldn't eat this, She COMPLETELY ignored us, without any say, sorry, gone

I recommend just ice cream, Because The Muffins, all, All cane From, A, Factory, They, didn't make It,,,

The hotdog and pies are horrible. everything is way too expensive and there is a really big surcharge. The customer service is terrible. You can barely hear them talk because they have masks on and they. Don’t tell you when your food is ready they just leave it on the counter. Strongly do not recommend to go here

I asked if the sandwich was fresh, I was informed yes. I could not eat the sandwich as the bread was so dry. It was as though it had been defrosted. I had to throw $13.90 in the bin.
Please do not lie to your customers. Will not be buying from here again.

This cafe is run extremely badly. They seem very unorganized and can’t cope with anywhere close to capacity. Do not have any expectations on busy days. Very slow to get your order, do not expect everything to be correct or to get cutlery or serviette without asking.
