We stayed in the “Studio” & struggled to sleep as not only was the road very busy & noisy but the bed was uncomfortable & the bedding was not clean. There was no wifi & the dated bathroom was so small there was no way to change, nowhere to store your toiletries, the wardrobe didn’t have any room for our clothes etc... the welcome note from the property management well didn’t quite make you feel welcome!! We certainly didn’t experience the 5 star inclusions, their photos are very deceptive. I wish I did my homework & researched ‘Aqua Shores’ because it’s definitely not worth $949.00 for 3 nights!!

I have now read the review posted in December, and have seldom read something so accurate and helpful in a TripAdvisor review. 100% endorse his comments. It is extremely poor value, and the representation of the studio apartment under the main house accommodation is certainly misleading. We have no idea how the larger apartments upstairs are, but if you are looking for a really nice, well positioned studio apartment, with location to match, this is not for you.||Location, apart from the road noise, is lovely, but so is most of the Mollymook beach area. Aqua Shores is in walking distance of nothing, except the beach. OK, maybe within a short walking distance, but it is well away from the restaurants and the golf club.||The studio is OK, but certainly poky and not anything flash. I just can't get how I made the mistake of booking it at the price. If you choose to stay in a holiday home style facility, and pay in advance, you should do more research than I did on this occasion. Older and wiser, but please do read rw1957's review.

Although extremely well travelled, I don't write reviews often and sadly it's usually only when I'm unhappy with someone or somewhere as I'm hoping to warn others not to make the same mistake. While the location and view is great, the studio is not. I don't know about the apartment and penthouse as I only stayed in the studio and its definitely not as it's pitched on their website. Described as 5 star luxury, I found it to be basic at most and therefore vastly overpriced compared to others in Mollymook . I certainly didn't expect a studio to be roomy but it was still a little smaller than I expected from the photos on the website. There's nothing luxurious about it at all (see photos) and shouldn't be promoted as such. There's bits and pieces that need improving for it to make it to a 4 star rating and so to promote it as 5 is wrong. Bbq is yuk despite the warnings that it must be left clean or you will be charged extra, and there's no lighter or utensils even if you did want to use it. Actually there's no cooking utensils at all so no sure why they keep the yucky bbq. No stove top in the kitchenette leaves only the BBQ or microwave to cook with. So it was difficult to manage making a basic breakfast. No dishwasher which I think is a basic for ? 5 star. Bathroom is tiny and shower floor could do with a clean. Outdoor setting is run down and uncomfortable. Not mentioned on the website is the road out the front that is only 10 metres or so from the studio and is quite busy and noisy. Overall, it's not a bad place if it had been considerably cheaper and not misrepresented...that's what was disappointing and upset me. Can't recommend it as value for money and wouldn't return.

We have been staying at this property for the last 5 years. We love Mollymook.... it has to be one of the nicest places on the south coast.||||My review of the property would generally be good. BUT...........||||However after this year's stay, I want to alert anyone staying at the studio apartment, that if you want to take a good break and rest eg: sleep.... like us - we work really hard all year, and we crash when we go to Acqua shores.. Except the mattress is absolutely TERRIBLE to sleep on and really made our stay an unhappy one.||||We were meant to stay 6 nights, after the 5th night we had to go home and get one good night sleep in our own bed.||||Location is really beautiful. However, if you can not rest by having a good night sleep, then it's pointless booking here again.||||Several items of importance, the agent should take on board: ||- the property is not cleaned properly. ||- animals should not be allowed in this small apartment due to allergies and hygiene generally||- consider wifi for your guests ||- provide better outdoor setting as it's hard to sit in old chairs that sag.||- The property could do with some TLC.||||The original owners were beautiful and were proud of this place. Since, it's lost it's charm.

If I’d read TA I wouldn’t have booked the studio, as all the reviews were accurate. Small in a noisy location. Yes we could take our pup but she had to sleep inside as the studio was so close to the road/footpath & easily dog-napped. We enjoyed the walk to coffee etc but were disappointed with the “kitchenette as it was tiny & no pans etc to use on BBQ. Very expensive for what we got- pictures are highly deceptive. Wouldn’t go back there.

We love this accommodation. Both the apartment and the penthouse are outstanding, but the penthouse is extra special. Beautiful views, nicely fitted and really comfy if you enjoy a 5 star standard. It is hard to get these high standards on the South Coast. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Penthouse over 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). Amenities were fabulous and the apartment itself is lovely. We were also provided with a car space which was awesome.||View was amazing and well worth the cash.

We stayed at the award winning apartment for 6 days and were very impressed with the apartment heaps of room and the luxurious feel the beds were the most comfortable with sleep coming easy with the sound of the ocean just across the road beautiful views of mollymook beach which I think you would be hard pressed to beat tv in every room which was a bonus it has a full laundry and stacks of cutlery and plates so you can use the dishwasher and don't have to keep washing everything up by hand all the time which is the first place I've stayed that This was possible a couple of negatives the road in front of Aqua shores is quite busy and there was no laundry detergent so don't forget to bring some but a very pleasant stay will definitely return
