Apple Tree Cottage in Montville is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, and the fireplace is perfect for cozy evenings. It was a very nice touch to find a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us. The location is brilliant for accessing the Sunshine Coast, making it an ideal getaway spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

We loved everything about our stay at Apple Tree Cottage. It was cozy, comfortable, spotlessly clean and very peaceful. The cottage is wonderfully presented with great attention to detail. It’s located in a perfect position and is within an easy stroll to the beautiful town of Montville. We thoroughly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the verandah listening to the surrounding wildlife. All our communications with Jonathan were second to none and he made us feel extremely welcome. Looking forward to our next stay.

We just spent three nights at this lovely little cottage located just off Main Street Montville.

The pros are:
Located within walking distance (1km or less) of many restaurants and shops.
Dog friendly.
Beautifully appointed and very clean.
Good sized veranda.
Good kitchen with microwave, fridge and cook top. (No oven.)
Bottle of bubbly, chocolates/shortbreads and ground coffee on arrival.
Manager available next door but politely unobtrusive.

Cons:
We could only stay three nights - this time.

From the moment you walk through the quaint latched gate and onwards to the beautiful cottage the welcome surrounds you. It is beautifully presented and the rules are delivered in a respectful manner so that you can totally relax knowing the boundaries. Our pet dog was protected with the surround fencing so we didn’t have to worry about his safety. The cottage provides the essentials needed for a comfortable stay right down to a bottle opener needed after a stressful drive. Montville is a delightful town and so much information is provided by your hosts Jonathon and Katina which is so helpful if you are a first time visitor. We were so impressed with our stay we have already booked for a longer stay next June to experience the great log burner fire for a winter stay in the mountains. Exceptional experience thank you so much.

We have just returned from our third stay at Apple Tree Cottage which clearly indicates how much we enjoy staying at this "home away from home". It is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything one could need for a relaxing and comfortable break away. Nestled among the trees and very private but yet only a ten minute stroll into Montville Village. What a perfect location! We send our very best wishes and thanks to Jonathan and his wife for creating such a delightful destination. We'll certainly be back next year for our fourth visit!

We had the best holiday at Apple Tree Cottage. This place is so cute and relaxing! We stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t resist the option of another two nights due to a cancellation! Our little dog Patsy could probably have moved in. She just loved Johnathon and his family! They even doggie sat for us while we slipped out to the village for a bite to eat and great ambience at montville hotel with fab Irish Guinness ! ||We would definitely recommend this as the place to go .||Aideen & Larry x

Last weekend we stayed at Apple Tree Cottage’s and it was one of the best experiences away we have ever had as a couple . A week later all we can talk about is when can we back . The cabin is nestled in a picturesque corner of Montville and we felt as though we were in England for the weekend . The hosts are welcoming and service and attention to detail is unsurpassed . For an unrivalled experience where you want to reset the clock and enjoy a short break , this experience will not disappoint.

My daughter and I wanted a couple of days away from normality and this was a first class choice ... we had such a relaxing time. The cottage is just as beautiful as the pictures you can see online and your hosts will take extremely good care of you. A little slice of heaven; you're completely surrounded by nature but the heart of Montville is just down the road if you're keen to do some shopping!
