Noiseworks didn’t disappoint. Jon Stevens a true Aussie rocker with a huge voice to match. Great historic theatre. When turned into a music venue it’s great to see amazing Australian musicians take the stage. Loved it!!!

What an incredible theatre!! The place is so well designed despite its glorious age! Saw Queen tribute band featuring Thomas Crane and they were amazing!!! The likeness to Freddie Mercury was insane, the sound was fantastic, the lights incredible... Anita's Theatre Thirroul was the perfect regal backdrop! Even bought a Drumstick ice cream in the foyer 😁

We loved this theatre. Modest but gorgeous quirky decor. Had a very friendly personal feel. Would definitely go there again as an alternative to going to Sydney to see bands (that don’t make it to Canberra).

Anita's Theatre is a venue you need to experience.
Even speaking with the band members of the Sweet, they were impressed with its beauty.
I'm looking forward to going back again to see the post-modern jukebox band in the new year. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

The only bad thing is there is no lift. I walk with a walking stick and you have to go up 23 steps. Apart from that it is a beautiful old theatre, very well cared for and great seating wherever you sit

Ben Portsmouth - This is Elvis 20/7/2024 show at Anita’s Theatre Thirroul NSW.
I was really excited to attend the Elvis show at Anita's Theatre in Thirroul tonight, but unfortunately, my experience was tainted by the impersonator's disrespectful behavior towards the audience. The show started off great with a full piece band and a convincing look-alike, but things took a turn for the worse when Elvis began making sarcastic remarks about our Aussie accents and our town.

I understand that humor is a big part of any performance, but there is a fine line between playful banter and mockery. This made some of us feel uncomfortable in the audience. It's disappointing to think that the person we came to see perform would belittle the very people who paid good money to support him.

Overall, I left the show feeling disappointed and disrespected. While the impersonator may have had the look and sound of Elvis, his behavior towards the audience left much to be desired. I hope that in the future, performers remember that it is the audience who makes their show possible and treat them with the respect and appreciation they deserve.
