Great place to stay close to everything. A little dated in decor but very clean with everything you need for a great break away from home. Great price for what you get.

Just had another great stay at Anchorbell units. Our goto destination when visiting Merimbula since 2016. Have had a variety of different units but all are well equipped, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Credit to great hosts Sonja and Kevin. Quiet and well located in town close to clubs and shops.

The Anchorbell is quite a gem. It's located in a quiet location, a short walk to the RSL club (excellent meals) and 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. There is a selection of rooms available, 2-bedrooms on single level or two story, and three bedrooms. Very reasonably priced.||||Stayed in the 3-bedroom for 3 nights over the June long-weekend. It was spacious, full renovated kitchen, warm with a split system and electric blankets on the beds. Friends were in a single level apartment. Both apartments were very comfortable, and importantly, clean. Hosts Sonja and Kevin are friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend the Anchorbell Apartments.

This spacious and clean double story townhouse accommodation had a wonderful view, full kitchen and laundry. Full smart TV with Netflix etc. all included for those lazy nights after fishing and surfing. Highly recommended. Tennis court and pool a great way to meet others.

Fantastic apartment. Extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. Apartments were very close to the town centre, restaurants and RSL (Walking distance). Full kitchen and laundry in each apartment. Lovely town and great place for a holiday. The apartments were very reasonably priced, particularly considering it was school holidays. We highly recommend the Anchor Bell Apartments.

Reasonably priced comfortable, clean and spacious unit for a family. Kids loved the pool and the half tennis court. It us within easy walking distance of restaurants, shopping and clubs. We stayed in number 8 which had views of the ocean from the back deck. We would stay again when visiting Merimbula.

We stayed for three nights at the Anchorbell Holiday Apartments in Merimbula and were extremely happy with the accommodation. We stayed in a spacious, two bedroom apartment walking distance to the local RSL Club (which served delicious meals by the way) and the main street, not to mention the lake and ocean. Ancherbell's is a lovely, quiet location, close to everything. We would highly recommend it.

Anchor Bell Self Contained Apartments at Merimbula

There is not much changed since last visit.

The apartments are owned by different individuals, and most are leased out. Some are owner occupiers.

The location is fairly convenient to the shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and banks. It is not far from a board walk, close the the Meribula Lake.

Visited on March 2021

The apartments, owned by different owners, are very managed by the resident managers. The compound is clean and green, with a half size tennis court, swimming pool, and barbecue facilities.

The 2-bedroom apartment we stay in consists of a Master bedroom with a double bed, and another bedroom with three single beds. There is no ensuite, and therefore with one bathroom and a seperate toilet, users should be considerate not to overe apartmentstay in them.

The hot water system runs on off-peak electricity, and I lierally have a cold shower on the first night because one of our friends that shares accommodation has a hot bath in the bath tub when we arrived at the apartment.

It is within walking distance to the main street, with a good selection of eateries including McDonald's, shops, and Woolworths.

If the brown window frames, door frames and doors are painted white, future renters of the apartment are more than likely to give more positive feedback.
