Peter and his team have made huge changes to the old Champ & Chief Cafe. Loving the new menu of freshly prepared meals. Great coffee ☕️ and friendly staff.

New management (yet some familiar faces ?) has brought a fresh new look to the cafe. More outdoor seating, a simple all-day breakfast menu with all the favourites, plus other deli items like sausage rolls, pies and pre-made sandwiches and sweet treats as before. The avo toast I had was delicious. The lady on the table next to me remarked her spinach and ricotta sausage roll was ‘delicious’. Can’t vouch for coffee as I will come back for that very soon. The owner /partner is either over worked or he has seriously had enough- he was super short tempered when I said I was eating in as I was meeting friends. This is not the first time and I’ve seen him loose his temper with customers. I think he needs a break for a while. It’s a shame, we’ve decided to stop meeting there after dropping the kids at school for a catch up. Although Flour next door have fantastic food the coffee is basic so we now meet at the French place near Pymble station.
