We came by train and coach from Sydney. |Allan met us at the Coach stop in town and drove us to the Bed and Breakfast.|We settled in well and were happy to spend time with our daughter and family in Manilla. | Breakfast alternatives were welcomed and we enjoyed both Continental and Breakfast with eggs.|Coffee was great.|Varieties of toast and breads made each morning a little bit different at breakfast time.|Pelican Room most comfortable. ||We were well looked after. |Thank you ?

Stayed for 4 nights, as a single paraglider pilot visiting to FlyManilla. Booked the Corner room. Very comfortable. Inexpensive. Hosts, Allan and Katie, are fellow flyers and a delight to be with - there's nothing they wouldn't do for you. Katie was also our retrieve driver for the weekend. Shared bathroom and kitchen both immaculately clean. Lots of facilities onsite (barbecue, pool etc) but was too busy to use any of them. Much nicer than staying in local motels and pubs - will be back!!

Allan and Katie were warm and welcoming hosts. I stayed in the Pelican room. It has a modern bathroom and a really comfortable bed. The magnesium pool was a bonus. I loved my stay at Ambleside and will be back.

We stayed for a couple of days and got the best service I've had. The room was spacious and the air-con worked well. The owners are very easy to deal with and super friendly. The pool was delightful and there is a BBQ available. The continental breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. I will be back in 2020.

Ambleside Bed and Breakfast is one of two nicer options to stay in Manilla. A place with a very pleasant atmosphere, with fabulous owners - really nice people with a good and constructive attitude. Also, has a pool. And ask about the parrots, if you like birds... or the place to watch the sunset...

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. The 1st time was a sad occasion (death in the family) but this time is a happier stay so getting to look around the gorgeous property more. There are baby birds in the trees, there are micro bats that come out at night, there are plenty of beautiful irises in the gardens.||David and Allan are wonderful hosts. The rooms are very comfy, the continental breakkie is plentiful and the facilities are fantastic. A very comfy home Way from home.

A beautiful place to stay. The hosts are kind, friendly and hospitable as are the other residents at Ambleside. They helped me with everything I needed and made my stay spectacular. Cannot recommend this place enough!

It's like Pipi Longstockings house 'Villa Kunterbunt'...just beautiful and so much character!
Lovely and welcoming host and a lot of animals around, a pool, bbq area and romantic sundowner spots near the pond and at the end of the property with wide views towards the Mt. Borah range...the mountain of the paragliders.
