Aunque el plan original de celebrar el cumpleaños número 60 con amigos se vio afectado por el huracán Cyclone Alfred, el anfitrión Damian fue increíblemente útil y el refugio resultó ser una experiencia fantasticamente cómoda y tranquila. La cama era cómoda y los paisajes desde las verandas eran impresionantes. El paseo por la montaña fue una excelente actividad para quemar calorías, pero definitivamente vale la pena por las vistas impresionantes. Este lugar era perfecto para un descanso relajante y recomiendo encarecidamente visitarlo. Se esperan con ansias nuestra próxima visita.

Thanks to Cyclone Alfred, my planned 60th Birthday celebrations camping with friends had to be cancelled, A last minute call to Damian and the homestead was booked. He was incredibly helpful. The homestead was fantastic with its beautiful views from the wrap around verandahs, bedding was comfortable and wish we could have stayed longer than the two nights. A walk up the mountain will give your legs a workout but well worth it for the great views. Just a great comfortable peaceful place to stay and I highly recommend. I will certainly be back

Lovely couple of days at the Amamoor Homestead. The nature and views are gorgeous at the moment. Beautiful place to relax. Will definitely be back.

We booked 2 cabins as we were staying with my elder parents. Beautiful setting, very affordable accomodation and feels like camping without the fuss. Very comfortable bed. An amazing spa and very roomy cabin. Firepits for each unit and firewood available for $10 a large bag. We opted to have dinner on the verandah one night and breakfast one morning. The steaks were very moist and tasty, one of the best we've had. Followed up by an amazing breakfast. Our hosts looked after all our needs. Very close to kandanga pub. Highly recommend for a weekend away. Dog friendly so our dog played with the neighbours, came home very relaxed.

Quiet location, pit fire with wood provided. Great place for a nature retreat. Friendly host. Internet wasn't working during my stay and there is not much living space in the cabin if there are more than 2 ppl. Sofa-bed takes all the space. If you're OK with that - a great place to spend a quiet weekend.

The grounds are beautiful, the cabin was a good size with good amenities. There is some maintenance TLC needed on the cabin. New manager Rose was friendly, but disappointed to hear there was no breakfast as web site had stated. Fire pit out front of cabin was great idea, pity no wood supplied, found dead wood in garden to use. Nice experience but didn't match all the excellent previous reviews,

What an amazing place to stay.
Cottages are set amongst nature, very clean, cosy and equipped with everything you need. The spa bath was big and deep and sooooo relaxing.
Chilling out on the lounges just watching the sky full of stars.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing and unwinding time out, this is the place.

Stayed during Gympie music muster. Relaxing getaway. Self contained totally ..I was a bit put off no biscuits. However there was a spa a little kitchen. Good fridge and a cute barbeque. I would definitely go and take Tim tams or something!!! When there was a problem with tank owners were up very early despite chilly morning to fix it. I thought this was in itself commendable. Water was tank so hair was washed in rainwater .always a luxury. Yep .. the scenery was gorgeous and despite it's name b&b no food!!! Bring some time ts and your holiday is made

If you want a relaxing break, in the peace & quiet of some beautiful countryside, then we would definitely recommend a stay at Amamoor Homestead. The hosts, Ken & Kathy are very welcoming and so friendly & helpful, they really make you feel like you are staying with old friends! We stayed in the Amamoor Suite in the main building. The bed was comfy and if was exceptionally clean. We could use our own end of the wide verandah for drinks before dinner at the other end of the verandah, where we enjoyed the company of other guests staying in the cottages. The substantial cooked breakfasts kept us going while we explored the surrounding areas and the dinners were equally enjoyable & filling. We will be back.
