The Queen Room was spacious, featuring a sofa that comfortably seats 2-3 people, along with a coffee table and two roomy armchairs.

While the building shows its age, with some wear like peeling laminate on the carpentry, it’s still well-maintained and clean.

Unfortunately, the WiFi was unreliable, and I had to depend on my mobile data throughout my stay.

The location is convenient—just a 2-3 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and the supermarket. Instead of following Google Maps’ route around the area, I recommend cutting through the Katoomba Court House on Civic Pl. This shortcut takes you to Katoomba Station, where you can use the underpass to reach the main street with easy access to shops and eateries.

The laundry room is located at the corner of the building, opposite reception. The washer is free to use, while the dryer requires four one-dollar coins, with each cycle taking an hour. Washing powder is provided on the top shelf.

For cat lovers, there’s an adorable house cat, a black feline who I spotted on my second and third day. He’s friendly, brushing up against you as he walks by, perhaps marking his territory!

The rooms were very nice. Quiet, despite being on the highway. Close to Katoomba main street. Really easy to get around.
The page says that there is a restaurant, however, it has closed down. The main food option they offer is that Dominoes delivers.

Five Stars for value. But the hotel grade would be 3 stars. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great shower. Older fittings in The Bathroom and older furniture, but everything was clean and in good working order. Everything was provided as you would expect. Iron, ironing, board, hairdryer, tea, and coffee, making facilities, toiletries, towels, etc. Bed sheets were crisp, white and clean. Location is about a kilometre from Katoomba Village, but it’s not a pleasant walk, so I’d recommend driving in for shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a well-stocked service station next door. Despite being located on the highway, the noise is very minimal due to double glazing. The only downside was the mattress which I found uncomfortable - but for a night it’s fine.

A fair walk to Katoomba main St, but the motel itself is very clean, comfortable bed, and plenty of room. The fridge is in a cupboard and therefore quiet, which is great as most motel fridges are in the room and noisy at night as they cycle on and off. Maybe I was lucky with the room location as the hot water was almost instant

Holiday in Blue Mountains and this was just an overnight stopover. Room was clean and functional - exactly what you would expect from a reasonable motel. Location is a bit out of Katoomba but only a 10 min drive into town to eat. Check-in was quick and easy. Didn't eat in the hotel.
