In the future, The Almond Inn Motel will definitely be our preferred stop in Tamworth. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, as they were a bit older and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, they turned out to be extremely comfortable and met all our needs perfectly. We booked two rooms for our family, and they kindly placed us next to each other, allowing us to have our fur baby with us. The beds were also the most comfortable we experienced throughout our entire holiday.

First time staying here,Only stayed overnight but the family room was lovely and clean. Very spacious. Beds were very comfy. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus . Very friendly staff. Will be definitely coming back again

We realised the motel was under renovation with the skip bin in the carpark as we pulled up. We had tried to cancel but were told it was too late to get a refund.
Unfortunately we were put in a room that hadn't yet had the bathroom touched. The smell of mould in the room was clearly from the damp in the bathroom. The room was not fit for guests and if WHS were to inspect they would be shut down. Many of us have asthma and were weezy by the morning.

Convenient to CBD, hospital,etc.
Pet friendly, room out the back to walk dogs on leash.
Rooms are not big but clean, and service is great.

I hired the family room with 4 beds for a few nights and was pleasantly surprised. After staying at a similar spot last trip and being let down, I was expecting more of the same but was pleased overall upon checking in.||The Almond Inn had a good central location to Peel St and other shops and eateries. |Upon arriving I noticed a nice sized pool if that's your thing. Laundry room available as well.||As for the room, semi outdated decor but I will say the beds were super comfortable, but as there were 4, it felt like the beds were jammed in and not a lot of movement space. I could see the appeal in a 2 bed room with the comfort level and a little more space. Cleanliness was an 8/10. The shower pressure was average. Not the worst I've had in a hotel but not the best either. It did the job though. ||The only other minor irritating thing was the curtain over the small sized window. It was a thin see through material, there was nothing that could block out the light coming in. Had to improvise with a spare blanket.||All in all, solid 3/5. Served it purpose nicely. Would stay again if I needed a room for more people and was looking to stick to the budget.

We really enjoyed our short stay & were allowed to bring our small dog. It's currently a good, old fashioned motel, bit rough around the edges but has everything needed. Terrific personalised service, generous sized rooms, clean & tidy, the mattress & pillows were super comfy & there was no traffic noise. Being pet friendly is invaluable. Owners advised the motel is being renovated, so watch this space

Really lovely motel and lovely staff. I had a really good night sleep after a 11 hour drive from Melbourne. There were 4 of us( me ,wife and 2 X 11 year old boys).Rooms were super comfy. Newly renovated. Beds and pillows were really good too. Breakfast was provided, simple breakfast but all we needed to get is back on the road! Definitely worth it. Also thanks to the hotel staff ( can't remember her name) for waiting up to 10pm for my arrival.
