We stayed for 1 night. The new owners were very friendly and informed us that they are gradually renovating the motel. The rooms are dated, but very clean and comfortable. New bed. We always stay at this motel. It's a shame it was left rundown, but the delightful new young owners are doing their best. I would recommend staying here, and will continue to do so. We wish them well.

Stayed 4 nights and would definitely stay again. New owners are a lovely couple.
Bed was super comfy. Shower wonderful. Decent sized room.
In good location. Walk bowling club and main street. Across road to Chinese restaurant and the Coonabarabran visitor centre.

Booked into this Motel in August for a 1 night stay. It was a late arrival after a very long day of driving. On the face of it the room appeared clean. However, the room (and I assume that most of the rooms would be the same) was extremely dated with poor quality fittings that were from the 80's. The room had a very strong odour of being closed up and never aired properly, I would suspect that the carpet, underlay and curtains were the main source of the strong offensive odour. The sheets itself were of a good quality, although there should have been a good quality doona or the like on the bed, since the temperatures were near freezing. There was a split system in the room that worked quite well. The bathroom was clean, however extremely dated and in need of a renovation. Behind the Managers building at the front of the property were piles of rubbish, surely this could be cleaned up, this did not add to the appearance of the Motel. Overall, I would definitely not stay at this Motel again, it is in dire need of a complete renovation and not worth the $135.00 that I paid for the one night stay. There are many other Motels in this town.

My husband, toddler, and I paid for a queen room, which should have had just one queen bed in there. We got that room because we all sleep together and that is all we need.

We were given a room with a queen and a single.

Initially, on arrival, I had a good conversation with the man at the desk. He was friendly, chatty, and welcoming.

But then later that night, after we returned from dinner, he was cold and honestly a little frightening after he realised that we were three in the room.

He asked, and I explained, and he said it was okay. But I felt very uncomfortable after that.

I considered paying extra but decided that I shouldn't have to pay extra for something that I hadn't asked for.

The room was simple and in a lovely location. The internet didn't work at all, even in the common areas, and the sheets and carpet were stained. The room was a good price and there is a pool at the front which I suppose would be lovely in the summer.

The Chinese food across the road is okay but overpriced.

We stayed in an older, spacious room with the best water pressure in a shower that I have ever experienced in a motel or hotel room. I like the older, single brick rooms as it means you can't hear the people in the next room snoring!
The room and bathroom was sparkling clean and there are power points on either side of the bed if you need them for CPAC machines or charging points.
The bed was really comfortable and with the table and 3 seater couch it had plenty of room for us to spread out. When I am on the road, that is what matters to me, a good night's sleep and a decent shower.
The owner told us that they had just taken over and are in the middle of refurbishing the rooms. I wish him well and look forward to going back on our way home.

Loved it! Clean with high ceilings (in our room at least) modern bathroom facilities. Friendly owners and a two minute walk to town. Very reasonably priced. Would stay again.
