Never miss a year (only exception was covid).
My home town is Gunnedah and it's always a great attraction for a boost to the town.
The entry fee is too high though and would love to see a donation to a different Gunnedah charity each year.

Australia's largest Agricultural Field Days and said to be one of the largest in the world is held annual in the third week of August on Black Jack Road West of Gunnedah in NSW Australia.
It is always Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
This current list of exhibitor's numbers in excess of 3000.
The range seems to cover every aspect of rural Australian life.
This includes farming equipment, vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, quads, side by sides, mowers etc.
The different cattle breeds are represented also from the beast to the BBQ.
Clothing, toys and hand tools are found in abundance.
Both Government Departments and Private Educational institutes ate found in the displays.
Aircraft are of two types ones for sale usually ultra light weights to helicopter sight seeing trips.
Fppd varies from the Roll n Roll van near gate 1 that sells hot foods from Bacon & Egg rolls for breakfast to Dagwood dogs & Chips to the CWA ladies whose $5.00 sandwich range is a bargain basement meal. Coffee is free at the LifeQuip stand along with free biscuits.A number of Establishment businesses eg Banks have customer lounges.
There used to be a lot of actual farming demonstrations but very limited now.
The other really good news is Admission is free.
Parking is free.
Normal emergency services such as Police and First Aid are on site.
There is a very efficient free parcel collection service that delivers to two gate Blue or Green collection points.

I have been going to this event for nearly 20 years now. It has changed some in that time. I understand the need for the $10 admission fee now, but i would like to know where it goes. The steak sandwich is a bit pricey now days as well. Definitely worth a visit. It is the biggest agricultural show in the southern hemisphere
