A simple budget motel that is clean, comfortable, friendly and well-located. I stayed just 1 night while passing through town. The room was well-priced. The reception was friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of space to park my car with camper trailer hooked up. It ticked all boxes. I would stay here again if passing through town.

The service and facilities were fantastic.
Staff were helpful and amazing, highly recommend. More than happy with after hours access to cooking facilities and pool.
Very large friendly dog was the bonus.

This motel is an absolute gem. The staff are super friendly; nothing is too much trouble. Amazing home cooked delicious meals eaten in a shared dining experience with staff and owners. Nice sized rooms with all mod-cons and comfortable beds. A very enjoyable experience - wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting charters towers.

This place gets my OK approval. It is fully self catering which is tough when working away from home and getting home late from work. Would be nice to get a bit of a brekkie going or something. It has all the basic necessities though so can't complain if you looking for an affordable place.

After reading all the other online reviews I decided to book a room here. When calling the premises (on two occasions) the phone rang 10 plus times before being answered. Obviously everyone has bad days and I’d like to say is true for this experience. However, upon arrival I was drilled by the lady for not having a smart phone to “sign in” to which I stated I’d be happy to fill out a form or do manually. After some grumbling I was told to use her tablet and manually sign in. No problem, she’s entitled to her views as I am to mine. The room: horrible mould smell, I found three full rolls of toilet paper under the sink with were sodden with water. (Cause of smell) took them outside to the bin. There was considerable dirt under beds and the shower rose had water squirting in every direction. As there was no cover to the fan in the bathroom, there were flies in the room all afternoon despite air conditioning on. I hope this was a one off. Lastly, the bed. Ouch! Springs I’m my back all night. Old and desperately in need of a new furnishings. I’ve stayed at another motel in Charters Towers and they were much cleaner, friendlier with nicer facilities all for the same price.

A recent family tragedy brought a large number of our families together in Charters Towers for a few days. The hospitality shown by Cherylle and Alan was incredible. They welcomed our visitors to the motel so that they could support us during this time. The hosts opened up the very well equipped camp kitchen to us all and nothing was too much bother. ||The rooms were clean and warm, and the beds were very comfortable. Good old country courtesy and friendship is alive and well in Charters Towers.

After reading the other reviews I chose this motel, it was clean and roomy and reception very friendly. However the shower screen is still cracked (mentioned in a review 18 months ago), The bathroom could really do with a good makeover. Having said that it did suit our needs, a bed for 2 nights to explore the area nearby.

Not flash new, but oh so charming, cosy, very welcoming.
Great size clean room nothing pokey about it, omg a proper shower head where I actually was soaked, made my night..
Friendly service from the lovely ladies.
A beautiful garden around the back where luckily my room/cabin was facing, what a sight to wake to in the morning.
Dog friendly as they allow you dog sleep in car only, understandably.
Chairs spotted around the garden to sit and take its cuteness and beauty in.
It wish more were like this......
