Booked the Admiralty inn as we were going to Geelong to watch a football game. It wasn't a bad walk to GMHBA ground. Close to the train station as well. Unfortunately couldn't get the TV channels to go. Bathroom was good and water hot.Great for our needs.

A very nice place. For a handicapped husband the room was good although the couch a bit low. My only complaint is that the very nice pool (which we enjoyed) had no rails for older people to get in or out of. Fortunately another guest helped my husband out. Would stay again.

I recommend this place. Affordable prices. Spacious rooms with all the amenities, including a microwave, toaster, refrigerator, and electric kettle. Even a hairdryer and ironing board. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely return

For the price, this was a good stay. While the buildings and rooms may look a bit dated, the room was really clean, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked really well, and they provided all the usual amenities. The staff were friendly and the after-hours check-in was also nice and easy.

SO OVERPRICED for what you get!!!

We couldn’t sleep in the bedroom because of the pungent smell, so my husband and I slept in the single beds in the lounge.

There's no allocated parking spots so there was nowhere for us to park when we arrived.

The place is seriously run down. The skirting was rotting and falling off the wall, there were multiple broken tiles in the bathroom on the wall and floor. The base of the shower has peeled away in spots with rusted fixtures.
Stains all over the couch.

The safety chain from the back of the door had been removed.

The fridge was humming so loud all night that we couldn’t sleep.

The single bed was small but comfortable and the shower pressure was good. Good location, 5 min drive from eastern beach. I wouldn’t return for this price though. Should be significantly cheaper.

What a fabulous place for the price. Rooms were very spacious, clean, modern fixtures and a big TV! The bathroom was on point with a large counter. Air-conditioning already cooling the room was a welcome comfort on arriving in hot, humid weather.
Park and it's an easy walk to a multitude of restaurants, bars, and international cuisine.
Pool looked fantastic, but was very busy - so we didn't have a dip'.
Unfortunately no covered parking for motorcycles. Toilet seat wasn't attached properly and required care when using the loo.
Staff on arrival where amazing, friendly, and engaging - loved that.
It's definitely a great place to stay, though.

OK apart from queen bed was like sleeping on a clay road. Dust all over the guest book. Can't complain as you get what you pay for. Small price, small rewards. Budget pricing definitely produced a budget experience. Reasonably priced for what you get. Lots of other stayers so it is what it is.

Price was very cheap which worried me but the quality was very high. Clean rooms, good wifi, good bed and home cooked eggs and bacon breakfast was perfect. Thank you. We will stay here again.
