I’ve stayed here multiple times, and it’s always been a fantastic experience! The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, which truly makes a difference. From the moment I arrive, I always feel comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel has a great atmosphere, and my stays have consistently been enjoyable.||While there were a couple of minor maintenance issues, they didn’t take away from my overall experience. The showers could use a little attention, and the air conditioning in the living room could benefit from a quick clean, but nothing that impacted my comfort. The fridge seal was a little weak, but it was a small inconvenience in an otherwise great stay.||Despite these small things, I absolutely love staying here and will definitely be back. The service, hospitality, and overall experience always make it a pleasure. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great stay. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and very practical. The location was very central, with easy parking, and the after-hours key pickup for late arrival was smooth and hassle-free. The only downside was the noise—while weekdays were fine, Friday night was loud in some rooms. However, the staff was very accommodating and quickly arranged a room change for us. A special mention to Chelsea for her exceptional service—she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Overall, a very good experience, and we would happily stay again!

I'm not sure where to start - a place that I would not want to return, ever! The two stars are thanks to the two reception staff who were absolutely brilliant. Always smiling, nothing too hard for them, willing to help when they could. And the positives stop there.|The apartments - for what they offer, functional - apart from the curved wall, so placing furniture against the wall would be challenging. Moving the sliding door to the balcony requires muscle, a lot, as the castors are (long gone). And than there is the cleanliness issue. Although the apartments are cleaned regularly, you'll need a mask (and a hazmat suit?) to exit the lifts as the rubbish shoot is located next to the lifts and (guess) not cleaned regularly (even after repeated request to the building management).|Slip hazard is also one to watch out for. Visitors don't care (observation only) that they walk out from the pool dripping - in the corridor and into the lifts. And while we are at the lifts, out of three only two work. So simple math, eight floors of apartments and during busy period you'll be waiting 5 minutes or more to use one. At times, it's faster going down the emergency fire stairs (unless you're on the top floor).

Firstly let me say this has always been our "go to" property when going to Canberra. However in future we will look to stay elsewhere. Firstly the service was great, the check in was easy and straight forward. However once you get to the accommodation floor you start to notice how tired the property is getting and how it is long overdue for an upgrade (or better running maintenance). The carpet is stained and the walls heavily marked. The room was spacious but musty and was comfortable however the view was just the service driveway, not very appealing.

I have given these apartments a rating of 2 for the following reasons:

1. I'm okay with dated interiors if they're maintained properly, but that's not the case here: the toilet seats are so old that the layers are peeling off (completely unhygienic), and the shower spills water everywhere.
2. The windows face a large intersection, causing a lot of noise almost all night long. There's nothing to be done about this, but it's something to be aware of.
3. There was a party going on above us. These are the cheapest apartments in the area, so be mindful of the type of guests renting them.

This has always been our go to accommodation in Canberra. This time is definitely the last time as we will be looking elsewhere in future. |We were walking along the corridor to our room and all of a sudden we were outside near the BBQ area and that’s where our room was!|As soon as we opened the door the first things we noticed was that the room was dark, smelled damp and the carpets were stained. |All the doors had to be pushed to be opened as they were jamming. The shower was inside the spa bath however there was no hand rail for safety and the bath itself was slippery. |The bed in the main room was rock hard - the floor would have been softer. The lounge was way too soft and very low. |The view was of the car park entrance. The balcony was dirty and had a stained round table. The whole place was unappealing and really disappointing as we know what it was like on previous visits. |I gave it a 2 star - 1 for location and 1 for the carpark. Although I did notice a sign if the carpark is full you can see reception so they can direct you to the overflow carpark. I was grateful we found a parking spot. |Avoid Room 120 and I’m guessing 118 and 119 would probably be the same!

Firstly I would like commend Chelsea for her outstanding customer service and recommendations for local services and eateries.
The location is convenient to the restaurants and cafes however is set in a noisy location. The rooms are outdated, the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows sub standard. It was a sleepness night.

10 days for the bond to be refunded is outrageous. Poor service at the desk, the lady was so quick to take your money and signature, but when asked about refunding a service that was not used, she took her time and had no idea how the process works. Highly recommend The Avenue hotel, better service, communication and rooms.
