A booking for 5, and the room was only set up for 4 people. When contacting the reception we were told that for us to get the fifth person bedding we needed to pay an additional $50 to have the sofa bed professionally made, or "you can use as it is" . Looks like the $400 for 1 night 2 bedroom apartment was not enough of a rip off. They acknowledge the was for a family of 5, though still wanted to charge extra for the missing bedding, when asked for a towel yes that could be provided at no cost, but not the bedding. Ah if you get there by car keep in mind the $40 dollars rip off for overnight parking. And how about the $10 per head for shuttle to the airport. It is cheaper getting an UBER to the airport you can get a family SUV for $15. The apartment is spacious, but stunk like cigarette. Dirty sofa, and bedsheets looked like they were not changed between bookings.

When checking out all they could say was sorry, but your booking was done through Booking.com you have to follow up with them... POOR SERVICE. Don't ask for anything or they will charge you an arm and a leg additional to the rip off price for the night.

Lovely modern apartments. Great location for trains, buses and the airports. Lots of eating places nearby including a lovely Italian restaurant and a Curry restaurant, we really enjoyed both. Exceptionally clean and well maintained rooms and very comfortable bed. The reception staff were exceptional. Friendly, pleasant, helpful and very professional.

We got a complimentary upgrade to a nice one bedroom with a kitchen. The shower products included are very nice. The location was great, right near Mascot station. We took the 350 bus from the domestic terminal and got there in like 3 stops, and leaving for the international terminal was a breeze at 6am taking the bus 420.

Excellent stay — we’ll definitely return!We had a very good experience and will gladly come back the next time we’re in Sydney. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, with plenty of reasonably priced eateries nearby. The staff provided outstanding service — they were friendly, helpful, and responded promptly to all our needs.

My stay at this property was very pleasant, the room was clean, the aircon great, sink, microwave no oven (maybe in one bedroom) the bathroom and shower large with good water pressure, coffee and tea making, cutlery with basic kitchen utensils. This is a very convenient spot close to shops, takeaways, supermarkets and transport (train & bus (cheaper than train)). The staff when I checked it were efficient and pleasant, it was a rainy night, cold and late 10 pm. My only criticism is the car park is well signed but the entrance is obscured upstairs (little lift or ramp beyond car park entrance) unfortunately looks like only the restaurant entrance, I had to call after walking around better signage is required especially late at night or instructions on booking. Hotel is pretty good, so why the two stars? My room wasn’t very clean. While bed was clean. The sheets covering the duvet were too small, not able to fully cover it. Considering I’m not sure they wash the duvet between every guest, it wasn’t the best of sleeps.

Couch had stains on it, and didn’t look particularly inviting so I skipped sitting down. The glasses and cutlery in the kitchenette were clearly dirty. Not cleaned.

The cupboards in the bathroom and kitchen were quite dirty. And high touch areas weren’t very clean

Before I would stay here again, this hotel really needs to up their quality of cleaning. While it wasn’t a huge deal for me, someone staying here multiple nights in a row will really have an issue

We had a few days in Sydney but our flight home was very early in the morning so it made sense to stay near the airport. I settled on Adina as it looked promising on paper. However the paper promise didn't transpire.

Based on the photos on the booking site, I was expecting a bright, modern, and stylish room. Disappointingly it wasn't. I genuinely thought I had stepped into a hospital room. I know that sounds very unkind, but the room felt sombre and downbeat to me. The bathroom was worse. It looked vintage and not in a good way. Showers were taken in semi-darkness as no lights are installed in the shower cubicle.

Thankfully all our rooms were clean so kudos to the housekeeping team (one bedsheet had an obvious stain though). However my wife freaked out when she saw a spider that hadn't checked out (big one she said). We were staying multiple nights and hence we were surprised to learn that housekeeping isn't provided. I wished I knew about this prior to booking. The lack of housekeeping would have changed my mind about staying here.

My wife was the one who asked about housekeeping at the front desk. The front desk duty person was rude and dismissive towards her for no good reasons. My personal experience with the front desk told me that her experience isn't a one off. Nobody exchanged greetings when I walked past, in fact I didn't even get a glance. They sure are an unhappy lot at Adina.

Our studio rooms were configured with two single beds. But one of the beds blocked the electricity outlets completely which was annoying. There's a kitchenette but there aren't any means of cooking so it's mainly for washing. A microwave and mini fridge is provided. Oddly there's a toaster, why?

There are two lifts in the building but one wasn't operating while we were there. We were on the lower floor so it didn't affect us much. But the hotel didn't think it was necessary to inform guests why only one lift was working.

Adina might be conveniently located near the airport but so are several other hotels. This experience has been poor enough that I would steer clear of the brand in future.

Dated room, with average facilities stale odour in room. common areas carpets worn. | Positive is close proximity to mascot train station and to local shops. |We also stayed at Holiday Expresss airport and it was a much superior and more modern hotel although location not as good being near to industrial.
