We had the most amazing stay at Absolute Oceanfront Tourist Park. We stayed in 2 partial ocean view family cabins and they were perfect. Airconditioned, well equipped with everything you need, comfortable bedding and immaculately clean. Pool and Camp Kitchen area were fantastic. Great location with a take away shop a short walk and an easy walk to Kellys Beach. Value for Money.

We have stayed in many caravan parks across Queensland and this one is up there with the best. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and updated. There is a well kept pool and entertainment area and if you want to swim in the ocean there is a sandy beach area with lifeguards just down the road. There is a chemist and takeaway and convenience store literally down the road.

Very clean and compact cabin with private deck at water's edge.
Our cabin did not require the AC as we had the benefit of a gusty sea breeze to keep us cool. All up, a great location at a fantastic price.

We had a powered site which had a great view. Other family members had cabins. They enjoyed there stay! The view is just spectacular! Location is great so close to coffee shops, Woolworths, lots of eating locations. There’s a convenience store walking distance away if you need supplies or a meal and without a car. Very handy! Lisa was absolutely amazing when it came to enquiring about multiple units for family. She was so accommodating!

What a beautiful park to absolutely just relax and do nothing. The management Lisa and Ian could not help us enough. We needed a hose and no problem. We needed a longer extension cord and no problem. They’re always working and never stop. The grounds are so clean and the units are spotless. There staff Robyn and Deb are always busy and love their jobs and Lisa and Ian treat them like family . They respect their staff and Lyn that works in the office is a lovely lady who always has time for a quick chat. We have rebooked for twice next year. Thank you for looking after us. 🧑🏻‍🎄

We stayed here in a family cabin (13 & 14) for what was meant to be 4 nights but ended up being 3. I was told that there were 2 queen beds - there was 1 queen and 1 double, and both were like sleeping on concrete.

The view is nice looking out over the water, but it’s all rocks and not accessible (I had envisioned a small beach at the front of the park - this is on me)

The cabins are dated and tired. The undercover area outside is spacious with table and chairs, however there’s nowhere to sit inside the cabin. Probably not so bad in summer, but I wouldn’t want to be there in Winter.

The location is an easy drive into the town of Bargara itself, but definitely not walking distance to the shops or the beach.

Hosts were friendly.

Would I stay here again? No, sorry, but I wouldn’t.

I'm not often 1 to rave about a caravan park, but here I go!!!
Absolutely Oceanfront C/P at Bargara in QLD really is worth the stay if you're ever in the area 😀
Ian & Lisa keep this little piece of paradise tidy, the amenities could win an award for cleanliness 🚿😁 and the camp kitchen & pool have the perfect view of the ocean 🌊
AND Lisa went out of her way to put me on a site with a view...as I'm working long days, she made sure I had a little slice of heaven 💙🩷
It's only a small C/P, so there's no feeling overcrowded. With 15 slab sites, 6 xlarge van sites (no slabs but oceanfront sites), a few tent sites & 14 cabins, make sure to book ahead in peak times 😀
