Stylish, modern hotel in a really central location.

When I checked in I noticed construction next door. I queried what time the construction would conclude each day as I’m a light sleeper—I’ve been stuck next to 24/7 construction sites before. They said it concludes at around 5pm but proactively moved me to a room on the other side of the hotel.

Noticed there was road works on that side of the hotel. Night 1 was fine. Night 2 there was jackhammering at 2 and 4am.

I speak to a staffer whose name I forget—starts with a J—and he proactively moves me to a quieter room for my final night. It’s in fact an upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment.

The room—both rooms really—are stylish, comfortable, and with everything you might need for an extended stay.

I ask for late checkout on my final day. It’s granted with no problems at all.

As great a little hotel as this is, the service really shon. Well done, guys.

Our stay at a by adina was average .|The positives were room was large and quiet beds were comfy and great to have small kitchen as there is no restaurant on site .|Room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. Shower floor was dirty no tissues on vanity . Main area was dusty . |Kettle and coffee maker needed a good clean before use . |Hallways on level one needed vacuuming . |Easy parking below and great restaurant (meat and wine co ) next door couldn’t fault service or food .|Cost of room was $300 which is average but overall room didn’t feel clean so I wouldn’t stay again .

Good location, right next to Canberra Theatre and easy 5 minute walk to Canberra Centre shops and restaurants.
Comfortable beds, some rips and wear in the carpet in the rooms but overall everything was good for the booking price.
Car parking good lots of room, unfortunately getting out was another matter. Had asked if parking had to be validated before leaving as paid when checked in. Leaving though it showed a charge, had to call and get it fixed up before be I no able to get out.
No noise heard from room of nearby construction.

We booked the one bed king apartment for the weekend. Modern and clean, with enough space for the 3 of us to stay comfortably. Bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower (and bathroom amenities are lovely). My only negatives are that the room had zero natural light - and the “mood” lighting doesn’t really brighten the place. A little desk/vanity and lamp would be a nice touch in the bedroom. The bathroom “door” doesn’t close. It’s a sliding glass panel and leaves nothing to the imagination when using the toilet. And although we booked as a family of 3, they didn’t provide enough towels (but that being said was easily resolved). The staff were kind and helpful and parking was incredibly easy. Be mindful that a huge construction site is located next door but it didn’t effect our weekend stay. A positive stay. Thank you.

We booked late and there was no problem. We booked adjoining rooms although there were only 2 of us but found the one room with partitions that could used if required was really all we needed. Very reasonably priced too. Location was perfect. We strolled up to Canberra Centre. Many pubs around for a pre dinner drink. Club line was next door if you are into gyms and so close to the theatre. The best experience was the next door restaurant Meat and Co. We had the best meal and although we hadn’t booked were given the best seats in the house! The service and food was exceptional. Breakfast was also available.
I have one issue which was the rooms didn’t come with a robe although they are available on request.
Under cover parking too!

The one thing that is most important about a hotel was the only thing this hotel got wrong! The BED!||The glowing positives:||Excellent location, feels like you can easily walk to anywhere. Lake, city centre, shops, amenities, restaurants, theatre… all within easy reach.||Parking - decent ($20 per night as at Jan 2025 if you’re wondering)|Decor - masculine feeling, modern and clean!|Vibe - dark, moody, calm, collected.||Studio Deluxe - Destination A package was excellent value for money if you can grab it for a good price.||All the essentials are include in your room. The gym is spacious, modern and clean.|Breakfast at RedBrick was nice. Hotel staff were friendly.||Everything about this place is glowing…||BUT||The BIG Con:||The beds are very FIRM! Why do hotels choose bedding like this? I completely understand it’s not possible to please everyone and I'm sure there will be other reviewers that say the beds were so comfortable, but please… Go soft-medium firmness to cast the net wide! Not everyone enjoys sleeping on a firm bed.||I enquired about mattress toppers prior to my stay and also at check in. They aren't available and there weren't any solutions offered. The concierge at check in even conceded that they have received feedback about their beds being firm.||Why have you not at least invested in a handful of mattress toppers? Just apply them upon request?||Anyway... 2 stars deducted since the bed is literally the reason why you book a hotel! Shame, it would be 5 stars otherwise!

We stayed in the Studio Deluxe over the 2025 Easter Long Weekend.
Pros:
- great location. An easy stroll to lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. This isn't the case for many Canberra hotels because they're often not in the city centre.
- room was comfy and clean. (I always personally find it amusing to have wallpaper made to look like concrete because concrete is a cheap material. So they're going for the "modern industrial" look but with vinyl marble tiles and paper concrete. Just not my vibe.) But the bed was super comfy and we really appreciated having a decent sized table in the room. Bathroom was clean and comfy too.
- multiple entry and exit parking with number plate recognition was great! Super handy.

Cons:
- the hotel has an arrangement with a cafe for breakfast, grazing plates etc, and the cafe was closed for the ENTIRE weekend. So there was virtually no point booking the deluxe experience as literally none of the benefits were available. No in room dining, no breakfast, no 'daily pause'. We were adequately compensated effectively with mini-bar credit, so yes, we took four bottles of cocktails and two bottles of wine away with us, but frankly would've preferred to know when booking that this packed out hotel would not have anything resembling actual food available. Mini bar popcorn is not food. So, I guess if you're booking for any public holidays, check if the cafe can be bothered opening for the guests. It was also frustrating that they clearly rely on the cafe for a lot of their supplies, so, everything they couldn't provide was extra annoying. We wanted more sugar-free Pepsi (the only diet drink available) and they had none. They didn't have any decaf coffee pods (I know that's apparently a stretch for some people, but can it hurt to have some in the cupboard when people are paying for a lux experience?) and eventually turned up with some Moccona instant coffee sticks (idk from where). There was also no hot chocolate with the hot drinks, which seemed a bit odd. I've been at two star hotels that still have a hot chocolate sachet along with the Nerada tea and International Roast coffee.

So, would we stay again? Only if the cafe was open and we got a better rate than other nearby hotels who share the same benefit of a good location.

A comfortable and well appointed hotel.||Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Good shower. Well appointed room. Good heating and lighting. Loved the washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The in room bar was stocked with some nice drinks. Room for two suitcases and plenty of hanging space. Plenty of room with a sofa and table. Well priced at short notice. 10 minute walk to lots of restaurants and shopping. Places to eat breakfast and dinner in the same building. Parking for $20 extra for 24 hours. Secure lifts. Would recommend.
