We recently had a lovely weekend at the Croft B/B Karen the host was great and nothing was a problem. The scenery is stunning and certainly well worth a visit. The bacon and fresh eggs for breakfast was a great touch. Thank you for the extra eggs Karen they didn't last long !!

We spent two relaxing nights at The Croft. Karen and John are such beautiful, warm and welcoming hosts and take great care to spoil their guests with unexpected treats. Their property is a haven for relaxation with your own swimming pool outside your front door and friendly farm animals. The perfect hideaway to unwind and rejuvenate! Would definitely recommend

Really lovely accommodation, welcoming and generous hosts.
So much so that we have just returned for a second stay! A five minute drive from Murwillumbah, The Croft has two very well presented and appointed suites. The studio has lovely views over the pool at the front and towards the forest and hills from the rear balcony, a great place to enjoy your complimentary platter on arrival whilst watching the sun go down.
The larger one bedroom apartment is a single step split level, has a spacious separate bedroom, small tv/sitting room and an 'eat in' kitchen. A private sundeck overlooks the pool and the rear balcony faces the garden and towards the hills. Both units have spacious attractive bathrooms and quality linens.
Home grown tomatoes and herbs from Karen and John's garden as well as eggs from the resident hens and jams lovingly made by Karen were amongst the generous provisions supplied to us during our stay.
Activities we enjoyed in the area included riding the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, walking in the Springbrook and Border Ranges National Parks, visiting the Margaret Olley Centre, along with the local cafes and shops of Murwillumbah and surrounding towns.

We were travelling to Murwillumbah and Chillingham for a musical reunion and found The Croft B&B. It was quite centrally located for us and the scenery and service was magnificent. Karen and John were great hosts with some lovely home-made goodies and a lovely welcome platter. We ate oranges from the gardens and got up close and personal with the cows. The accommodation was excellent with everything you would need. The gardens were stunning and so relaxing. Would definitely return one day. Thanks for a great stay and the value added extras!

This lovely B&B is in a lush garden setting 6 km from the Murwillumbah town centre. Karen and John are terrific hosts and our studio apartment (Ashcroft) was well designed and has been furnished and fitted to a high standard. It was fully equipped with a comfortable bed, kitchenette, newly renovated bathroom, fast WiFi, and flat screen TV with Netflix. There was an ample supply of breakfast provisions (Mt Warning bacon, free range eggs and home-made marmalade) and treats. Fresh flowers, high quality linens and real leaf tea were just some of the thoughtful touches. This is a great option if you are visiting Northern NSW and you have your own wheels.

Highly Recommend to stay at The Croft B&B.
On arrival we were greeted as though we were friends of Karen.
The welcoming platter was to die for. The accommodation was 5 stars and it felt very homely, peaceful and like our own personal resort. Unfortunately due to the weather we could not explore the beautiful gardens and property but it is definitely on our bucket list to come back. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and recharge your batteries do yourself a favour and stay at The Coft B&B. You will not be disappointed. Oh and the home made strawberry and marmalade jam made by Karen is so delicious not to mention the locally smoked bacon.

John and Karen had the place beautifully prepared... fresh farm eggs, bacon, home-made muesli and a selection of cereals... even baked beans, lemons and tomatoes and fresh herbs from their lovely garden. Karen contacted me in advance to check if there were any special requirements. I was a bit apprehensive, as my husband often needs to use a wheelchair, but she was detailed and fastidious with explanation and care.

The property itself is lovely... close enough to get a lovely view of Mt Warning and far enough from Murwillumbah (6 mins drive) to really feel you are in the countryside.
We stayed 8 nights while my husband researched a book set in the area. It was idyllic. We were there in June, with beautiful sunny days and cool evenings, so we didn’t use the plunge pool or BBQ right outside our door, but would love to come back mid-season and make use of the other facilities.

John and Karen were the ideal hosts for us - we are a couple wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. We felt welcome, at home and cared for, but were given privacy and were undisturbed.
