First time here and WOW,what a nice place,service was great and friendly and went out of their way to make you happy,food was a delicious, great serving sizes,we ordered,mixed grill,t-bone steak and a Dudley's burger, couldn't have asked for a better meal,quick bar service when we ordered gin and squash,a vb and a ginger beer,will be back for sure,very popular as it was fully full which is a good sign it's a great place to eat dinner,only half a hour wait for the food which was pretty reasonable for the crowd that was there,total cost was $105 and was worth every cent

Family friendly pub. The meals were good. Friendly staff. Good customer service. I could smell cigarette smoke in parts of the pub. The pub also has a sports bar and gaming area. There are TVs that show channels Seven, Nine and Fox Sports in the main bar and eatery area. This pub was once well known as the home of Stumby’s Restaurant. There is plenty of parking outside this pub - and at the rear of the facility.

Visiting town and staying up the road so chose this hotel for its proximity. Good sized pub meals (curry very spicey so beware!). Best thing was how we were welcomed by the bar and the bistro staff and the locals had a chat. Well done

Went for lunch with the missus. First time in many years I have been here but the food was exceptional, BBQ schnitty and chips cooked to perfection. Well done to the kitchen.

The pubs renovations are really well done, making the pokie room and mini bar heaps more appealing then once before, the old school bar still available on the right hand side of the pub was lovely to still see and added to the pubs aesthetic.
However the food is always burnt or over cooked, even the burger bun lid was blackened.
The service was a small blonde girl abusing another worker and then leaving him right on rush behind the counter to walk around wiping empty tables.

All in all the pub is presented well.

Stopped in for dinner while travelling through. WIsh I had kept going.

Had the Brisket Burger, which was dripping in so much oil it was inedible. The brisket itself was OK, if a little tasteless. The big problem was plate had a cm of oil in the bottom, soaking the bun so much it turned to mush. Awful stuff.

The surly service didn't help the situation.

This pub is well run. Any pub with fluctuating demand needs staff to be there no matter what. Clearly a well managed operation.

The Dudley schitzel was placed in my top 5 all time.

Excellent service. Excellent friendliness.

Overall a very very professional run pub with an epic bistro.
Not much more to say except highly recommended.

There aren't enough stars for the Dudley Hotel.
5 stars for the staff who were friendly, helpful and who went the extra mile to go to the bar next door and give me table service when the beer that I liked wasn't available in the bistro bar.
5 stars for the steak that was cooked to perfection and was delicious.
5 stars for my wife's barramundi that wasn't overcooked and dried out
5 stars for having the beer ICY COLD.
5 stars for the old fashioned service that you see so rarely these days.
Next time that I am passing through Bathurst I know where I will be having dinner.
