We visit Bathurst often to visit family and usually stay in Motels, but never again. The B & B was a relaxing way to spend the week end. My husband usually stays in Motels but he found this accommodation a pleasant welcome change. It did not make you feel you were staying in some other persons home. The accommodation was private and separate from other guests. It is much more affordable and cleaner than any other motel we have stayed in , in Bathurst.

Prettily decorated in English country cottage style, we found the B&B charming and our hostess was incredibly flexible about our need to leave at 5.30am - she showed us where all the breakfast things were and arranged it so we could do DIY tea, toast and cereal before we went! The room was very warm and comfortable, we had a quiet restful night and afternoon tea in the garden was delightful. Couldn't fault it.

It takes a lot to want to keep going back! Winter Rose Cottage is unique well run personalised business.|Anne Marie is very flexible on times for breakfast and most of all 2 days menu is never the same. Plenty of hot water in very clean facilities.You feel at home!

Winter Rose Cottage is easy to find and does look like an English cottage. It is just like stepping into home. The beds are very comfortable and the cottage is very clean. Anne-Marie is very welcoming and also provides a lovely cooked breakfast. I would definitely return.

This property fits the model of a well run B+B. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable and quality linen.||Breakfast is always a treat as Annmarie is creative and flexible and uses vegetables grown on the property.||Pleasure to stay

This B+B has been professionally run by the owner for a very long time. Well maintained and quiet even during the busy Bathurst 1000 weekend.||If you have the time the breakfast is unique and appropriate and served in a quaint dining room. We continue to come back yearlly
