Margaret Whitlam Pavilion was named after the former First Lady, the wife of Prime Minister Gough Whitlam, and was the perfect place for a friend of ours wedding today!

The Margaret Whitlam Pavilion isn't a large building, which makes it perfect for smaller events with spectacular views overlooking Canberra with Lake Burley Griffith as the backdrop...

It's not hard to find the Pavilion it's next to the Arboretum, you can see the building sitting up on the hill while you drive along Tuggeranong Pkwy...

For my first time here, I can say truly amazing area, and the Pavilion is well Situated for great photos!

The Margaret Whitlam Pavilion is iconic in Canberra for a great reason; some of the best views of Canberra around, easy location, and excellent catering. You'll have no doubt admired the Pavilion from afar whilst driving through Canberra and I can assure you that when you enter it for the first time, it really is breath taking.

Few places in Canberra provide such an incredible ceremony space for you to be able to admire Canberra in all of her beauty.

Beautiful location and a lovely room for a wedding .
I would recommend bug spray if out doors I had not 1 but 2 bugs embed themselves in my feet !!!!!!? not the venues fault it's outside what do we expect !.

A terrible location when taking a large group of people in a bus. No bus access because of narrow gate and poorly mounted solar panel to operate said gate. Bus groups need to be dropped at the gate and need to walk.
