Great little Motel for a short stop. Convenient location right on the river.Pretty spot. Room clean, tidy, bed comfy. Unfortunately either the tavern or a local had loud music until the early hours, so minimal sleep.

I have stayed a number of times at the Chinderah Motel. Under the previous Manager Bob, it was always fine but only just - now Ruth has taken over things have changed.|Recently I stayed twice, once on the way up the coast and then on the way back.|The first stay was in a downstairs room which had some refurbishment and was clean and comfortable. On the return, I scored an upstairs room which was fully refurbed, was large and very coomfortable.|Nearby are a Pub, a Fish and Chip Shop and a Chinese Takeaway so meals are easy|I would recommend this motel and congratulate Ruth on what she has done so far - I also look forward to staying again and seeing progress

The river view room has a window that looks out to the Tweed River and Mt Warning. The room was simple, clean and fresh. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I had room service for breakfast. The scrambled eggs were still hot. The service was helpful and friendly. Thank you Kevin. See you next time.

Absolutely amazing location right across the road from the river. |Shower pressure was one of the best I've ever experienced in a motel.|Room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfy. Included everything you need kettle, toaster, microwave and full size fridge. |Great value!

We arrived earlier than normal check in time and they were happy to let us check in early as they had a room ready. Room was nice and tidy and clean and you could see that they had done some renovations to make it comfortable. Good sized bathroom, nice cool aircon and good undercover parking. Opposite the river which is nice, and they have a decent pool for a dip. Only thing I would like to see is a bigger TV and wall mounted in front of the bed. We would stay here again for sure as it’s fairly cheap and the bed was good
