Dalziel Lodge perfectly fills the gap between hotel and backpacker stay. The Lodge is very well appointed. The rooms I’ve had during my stays have been quiet, very clean and the bed very comfortable with plenty of space for a single person stay. The bathrooms are shared and are kept very clean and I’ve never had to wait for a shower, so there are plenty for the number of guests. The shared kitchen is very spacious and well set up. This is my second stay and I will definitely stay again. It is good value for money. It is also very conveniently placed for public transport options to anywhere you choose to go. I would highly recommend Dalziel Lodge for your stay!

We stayed in the Heritage room which was great (though the funky lamp wasn't working). I think it should be made clearer on the website that there is no parking (or you can pay $25 to park and there is room for one car but this is only on the contact page) so that was a problem for me as the streets were full and it was only 1 hour parking until 6pm. The staff member followed me to the gate as I reversed my car out and locked it - not a great experience of hospitality. Kitchen facilities and dining room are great. No way to dry your hands in the toilets (unless you use toilet paper) and bath towels are looking a little old. other than that, a great stay!

Incredibly beautiful place. Handy to everything including a short 10 minute walk to the Mater Hospital. We stayed in the ‘Garden Studio’. Well presented, a lovely setting. Comfortable bed. This place is not a Hotel it is more like a home with complete privacy. It is the world’s best kept secret. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who requires that ‘little bit extra’ & would have no hesitation in staying here again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is superb, with easy access to public transport—just a 3-minute walk to the bus and 7 minutes to the metro.

The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Peggy, who was very patient in answering all our questions.

The facilities are excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a nice complimentary breakfast. I also appreciated the hot drinks available 24/7.

This hotel is definitely value for money, and I highly recommend it. I will certainly be visiting again!

We had family and friends stay here recently who came for an event. Dalziel location is excellent! Just a short walk to Crows Nest which has restaurants, grocery stores and anything you need. The Lodge is very clean and the team running it are very helpful. Love the little alcoves and garden where you can take a break. The kitchen is well stocked and being able to get a cuppa anytime is a bonus. Highly recommended!

Dalziel Lodge is a clean and convenient place to stay. The rooms are cosy but clean. The kitchen is well stocked and readily accessible for tea, coffee etc. and a continental breakfast. Service is very good with notifications on time before check-in.

Good location in Sydney north, walking distance to Woolies and restaurants. There is no service, no one at reception. I booked a queen bed but it was a queen mattress on a double bed so the sides just out. Only 2 pillows and there is no one to ask for extra. Room is smaller than picture.

Shower is nice and hot, bathroom is pokey. No jam, there's butter, peanut butter and Vegemite.

A capsule coffee machine would be great and not too onerous.

A fair rate for this room with shared bathroom should be $70/$80 not $109 considering the minimalistic amenities. Similar to nice backpacker.
