Great vibe wonderful place with family and friends. Close to this vicinity plenty of restaurants and pubs. We spent 3 nights here while skiing which was a memorable experience. 100% we would be visiting again.

Good resort, good runs and diversity in slopes available. Expensive AF but I guess you’re paying for the convenience of having slopes and snow a drive away from Sydney. Make the most of it before the show all melts

Everything is wonderful and fantastic. The view is unbelievable. The snow is soft, but the weather is very cold. I advise you to buy clothes and shoes before going because everything is expensive there, but it is worth the experience. And he closed 4:30 pm If you want to have fun, you should come in the morning so you have plenty of time.

A beautiful place to visit, we all love it there. Good vibes, great skiing, fab food, but pricey but to be expected for Australian snow resorts! Special mention to some of the awesome shuttle bus drivers around the mountain - always a laugh!

This was my first time skiing ever, and I’m so glad that it happened here, this place is not only gorgeous but way to much fun - I went here with friends with some of us being already adept
Skiers and others (like me) going for the first time. But regardless we all had the best time. We stayed in the river inn which was very accomodating for both kids and adults alike. And sits directly across from the slops with a pathway connecting them - making travel to and from the slopes unbelievably convenient. And the slopes themselves were gorgeous, though over the course of the stay become more melted, and while the slopes were fine the general area at the bottom was far from it.

Where to even start with this place!? It has the potential to be great. Thredbo village is beautifully nestled in between the mountain hills with a lovely river running through it.

Yet there is nothing going on, hardly any restaurants, hardly any bars and the same with shops. The restaurants are terrible quality that you wouldn’t serve food to your dog, staff rushed off their feet so the service is god awful.

It’s just a bad bad experience. Unsure if this is Australia Tourism that doesn’t want to pump money in or it’s just been monopolied by one owner and they don’t want to build anything else?

Either way. It’s no place to host thousands of people every day. Cannot be catered for what so ever!

Ski passes at over $200 per day as well. You can see why people just go elsewhere.

I won’t ever be returning. Spend your money elsewhere

Very disappointing for the money that you pay as a non skiing visitor. Came for the day to have lunch at Australia's highest Restaurant and get some photos only to be told that only skiers have access. If your not skiing don't waste your time or money, better off going to Perisher.

Awesome experience on the snow at Thredbo. We didn’t stay in the town, instead deciding to travel from Canberra. The weather helped provide a great day of skiing. But the infrastructure and processes for managing skiers and boarders are fantastic.
