A lovely weekend away. Staff were most helpful and accommodating to organize another nights stay since our plans for an overnight hike were changed to weather conditions. It was nice from an all day hike to rest our weary bodies before traveling home. Thank you so much and will return again.

This was our first stay at Bernti’s Inn and it was delightful. The accommodations, the Brasserie and the Staff were all first rate. I’m looking forward to our next visits as we will definitely return.

My fiancee and I loved it. The location was close to everything, and our room had a great view of the ski slopes across the river. The meal at Zack's Grill was absolutely great: I adored my steak! The staff were warm and friendly, especially the duty manager (? I think) who remembered it was my fiancee's birthday, and was generous and caring. Our first night in Thredbo, and we will be back.

We dined at the Bar and Brasserie on a Saturday night a week after the close of the ski season at Thredbo. Hard to say it was great value, but elements of the food were tasty and the location is good with views out to the mountain (if you are rated by the window).

FOOD:
Good - Our table ordered the wagyu eye fillet which was quiet flavoursome, however the chips were a little odd. The teenager at the table commented they were very similar to microwaved chips you get in cardboard box, they were soggy but had slight crispy bits.

I ordered a vegetable stew which was warming and hit the spot, a simple stew that tasted good with a bit of extra salt and pepper. We all had duck spring rolls which came with three long spring rolls which were crispy (so we know the fryer must be working?) and a bit bland even with the hoisin sauce.

DRINKS
All your usual favourites, drinks were cold and came quickly!

SERVICE
Good - food came out in a reasonable amount of time, staff checked in where required, our table was for three but only had two glasses — easy fix.

If making a booking at the Bar and Brasserie, do request to be seated at a table beside the window.

They opted to seat us at an odd table off to the side where one seat required bumping your back against a wall, we moved the table a few inches out from the wall to solve the problem.

VALUE
Average - it’s mountain pricing ‍♀️ and when the bill came out, the pricing was different to that on the menu, it was a Saturday night, so I guess we had to pay some sort of Saturday surcharge.

My ginger beer seemed rather good value!

RETURN?
I’d consider booking this restaurant again given the close location to our accomodation and the lack of options on the mountain, but would put in a request for a better table and hope the fries are sorted out!

We had our original reservation for Zack’s Grill cancelled as the restaurant decided to close due to the early end of the ski season, so we agreed to be moved to the Bar and Brasserie. Would try Zack’s Grill before booking this again.

Hubby and I had dinner at the bar and brasserie last Tuesday. It was such a nice and inviting atmosphere. Sat down to a lovely table and had some awesome food, a wagyu steak and prawn fettucinni. It was a lovely evening, Thankyou.

I dined on the filet steak ,it was good quality & cooked underdone as ordered . It was served with a baked potato and broccoli + 1 baby Dutch carrot .
The meal would have been complete with a little more broccoli and at least 3-4 Dutch carrots.

Ever since the owner “Zack” was given this whole hotel and restaurants at the age of 18, it has been an abomination. Service is terrible, average food, staff are uneducated to the clientele. Thredbo is an international 5 star resort with pricing according !
Do not recommend.
