I stayed in the Hatheway suite night prior to the previous owner selling. It was clean, spacious and such a nice enviroment. The log fire was also a lovely evening touch. With cafes in walking distance and plenty to do a short drive away it was a perfect getaway for the night. I only wish we had the entire weekend booked in!

This beautiful spot in the hills and in the lovely town of Olinda is a must stay. A gorgeous blue stone building holds the most lovely rooms and suites for your stay in the Dandenongs. Right near the heart of town, mere steps to eateries and gift shops, you won't run out of things to see and do. The rooms are luxurious and beautiful. There is a day spa on the premises for you to book into and enjoy while you stay. The kind owner gifted us with some champagne when they found out we were returning there after our honeymoon 32 years ago. Recommend highly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft Suite. We were met by a very welcoming staff member. The suite was spotless. It exuded luxury, with very tasteful decor and furnishings. The beds were very comfortable and the linen and towels were crisp and fresh. ||The gas log fire created a cosy atmosphere during our wet and chilly July getaway. The spa bath was luxurious and much appreciated ||However, The breakfast didn't quite match the 4.5 Star rating. Sliced defrosted white bread, softened butter portions, long life milk and instant coffee were a disappointment and could reasonably be upgraded to fresh bread and milk, real butter portions and a coffee pod machine. ||Otherwise, The Loft in the Mill, more than met our expectations.

I stayed here with my new wife and 3 kids. This place is absolutely amazing! I really enjoyed the room and amenities. The kids absolutely loved the upstairs loft area to sleep and my wife enjoyed architecture and the whole design of the place. Our only quarrel was the parking, we came back in the middle of the day but we didn't have a park and had to park across the road and get our kids to cross the road at a less than safe spot. Other than that it is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend this to anyone that wants a lovely stay!

Loved staying here! The atmosphere is intimate, and the location is really good, right in the centre of Olinda. It's super close to the Olinda town centre and not far from Sassarfas. The staff are accommodating too if you have requests and staying here is well-priced. We stayed in the King Arthur suite and loved the large spa. The bathroom was small, but the bed was really good. Highly recommended!

Simply beautiful building. The lady checking us in was so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Victorian Suite on the ground floor. As soon as you walk in it’s got style and class and is just amazing. Gorgeous room for a couples. Has a comfy bed and lovely period furniture to match the room. Breakfast was cereals, bread , orange juice, spreads and milk. Location is perfect for walking around Olinda shops,and eateries. Very cosy and heater kept us warm as it gets cold up there. Highly recommended for a getaway.
