Wow Seaview House Is absolutely perfect for our family where we hire the whole house. The new owners have made so many beautiful & functional upgrades the whole place looks great. Seaview House was a fabulous venue in a great location and perfect for a significant birthday for a group of 30 family and friends. The self catering kitchen was perfect to prepare meals over the weekend. The rooms and ensuite were very clean and very comfortable. The dining room was perfect for serving and eating meals and for shenanigans on the dance floor. Rachel and Matt were very helpful with planning and with all our queries. Everyone had a wonderful time.

We recently hosted my birthday with a weekend at Seaview house. Family and friends arrived on Friday to be welcomed to enjoy a fabulous weekend away. Rachel and Matt were so helpful in our planning. The rooms are very comfortable and the venue had everything we needed. I would certainly recommend Seaview house as a perfect venue for a special occasion.

Our garden club has just spent 2 nights at Seaview house for the second consecutive year. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, in clean, comfortable rooms with ensuites. The amazing fully equipped kitchen was great, and the sitting loungeroom areas spacious and comfortable. So close to walk to shops and beach.

We spent a lovely 2 days at Seaview House and found the rooms were very clean and well presented. The communal rooms were great for mingling and relaxing. The location is very central; close to restaurants, art galleries and a book shop. It was a great place to hold a family celebration.

Seaview House was beautifully appointed accommodation for our family as we were celebrating an 80th birthday with ages ranging from 80-2. The decor was very appropriate for the era of the ‘old’ hotel and the many meeting rooms gave us space for everyone to enjoy. The convenience of bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms was wonderful and gave everyone plenty of privacy. The largeness of the place made us concerned as to whether we would be warm enough as we were travelling in the winter but we need not have worried as we were never cold. The location was perfect as we walked everywhere over the weekend. A well appointed commercial kitchen made food preparation a breeze and the added bonus of a cafe sized coffee machine (with beans provided) was magnificent. We were able to access, through Salvador, a chef for our main celebration enabling us to remain at our accommodation. This was so much easier considering the range in ages. |We were thrilled with our weekend away and Seaview House was the perfect venue to accommodate us all.

Our recent work retreat at Seaview House was an absolute delight. The house itself is a stunning, historic property close to the ocean. We loved the spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, which were comfortable and provided the perfect setting for our group of 16 people to work and socialize.

As a self-catered group, we found the facilities at Seaview House to be more than adequate for our needs. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals, and the dining area provided a beautiful space for us to come together and enjoy our meals.

We appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to disconnect and focus on our work. The staff at Seaview House were incredibly welcoming (including a beautiful chalk boarded welcome message) and provided us with all the support we needed to make our stay a success. We were especially grateful for their thoughtful touches, such as fresh flowers in our rooms.

Overall, we highly recommend Seaview House as a beautiful and comfortable location for a self-catered group retreat. Thank you to the staff at Seaview House for providing us with a five-star experience that we'll always remember!
